10/5/2017 11:18 | Northumbrian Water have the technology available to them, they've been working on desalination since the mid 1980's, but yes it is a feather in MWGs cap. The graphene filtration is the game changer. | gbenson1
10/5/2017 11:14 | The fact a big utility like Northumbrian would JV with MWG shows how much they need MWG's technology and in what high regard they hold the company. | top tips
10/5/2017 11:12 | Let's not forget that the £22m Gibraltar sewerage project is a joint venture with Northumbrian Water. | gbenson1
10/5/2017 11:04 | runth - I tend to look for companies like MWG that already have revenues and are at growth inflection points. I avoid risky stocks which swallow up millions in capital expenditure and inflated salaries. Over the years i have found I can often 10 or 20 bag with such a strategy. MWG is a classic example and all the evidence is that holders should make handsome gains. P.S. Latest news on the £22m Gibralter Waste Water treatment plant - “After taking advice from experts and a great deal of planning, the Government repeats its intention to award the relevant contract later this year.” (HM Govt. of Gibralter, 8/5/2017) www.gibraltar.gov.gi | hottingup
10/5/2017 10:53 | They would have to release as any talks clearly are no longer 'confidential'. | argylerich
10/5/2017 10:46 | Do they have to release if an approach has been made and confidential talks are taking place ? 1.8m shares traded today so far , normal volume 635k per day. | haroldthegreat
10/5/2017 10:38 | Ah luisfrg, I hope your gains here have ameliorated losses on EMH. Have done for me somewhat but I wish I'd bought more! Have learnt the lesson of EMH and topsliced some but with every new order this one will jump. Still near the beginning of the story I think and the mainstream media have yet to get their hands on it. Sounds like a SHARES story to me! | runthejoules
10/5/2017 10:38 | harold, equally if there is any news pending that may effect the share price to the positive, they would be forced by now to inform the market. I think this upswing was always a good likelihood pending the books heading towards balancing and clarity on further funding arrangements. | argylerich
10/5/2017 10:05 | MWG looks better. Its obviously worth more now than when it was previously around 140p as we know the Gibralter project is coming this year and there will be more orders from India, china and the Middle East. 150p - 200p has been suggested but I think even more. The market is growing and there are increasingly legal requirements that guarantee the market for MWG's products and associated repeat sales. | tell sid
10/5/2017 10:04 | Argyledid you wonder if it was Viagra or steroids ? From the graph I would say steroids as it took a few days. viagra would have been within a hour !if you look at waterman share chart that's Viagra..perhaps the Viagra moment is on the way here with a RNs. | haroldthegreat
10/5/2017 09:57 | P1nkfish...expect some investors will be top slicing and taking profits over the last week rises. COG is also worth a look and is going to multi-bag as a possible suggestion for you. | jamesd888
10/5/2017 09:53 | Well I reduced holdings as it ran up to where I expected to do so, but more than a year early and made good profit as had low average price and quite a few stashed away. Still have a stake but not as large as it was. Good luck all. Keep eye on UBI. I think that will move in next 12-18 months. Ignore the mistakes of past old management, look forward. Not a ramp just a suggestion to look at the market and products. | p1nkfish
10/5/2017 09:41 | Topped up too, small pull back before next leg up... 40p by close | luisfrg
10/5/2017 09:26 | Topped up again. This is an obvious buy and hold. | top tips
10/5/2017 09:22 | Well the market certainly know!! | mustau
10/5/2017 09:21 | harold, I did wonder about that but in the end it's about perceptions of 'fair value'. | argylerich
10/5/2017 09:15 | Interesting that the company has not put out a comment that they know of no reason for the share price increase!this would imply that they do know the reason.having purchased at 51 at this rate will be in profit next week. Is the share price rise due to steroids or Viagra being put into the water ? Does not matter just double the dose! . | haroldthegreat
10/5/2017 09:12 | The growing number of contracts in a growing market suggests this should be more of a mid size company with a capitalisation over £300m. | tell sid
10/5/2017 09:08 | The growing number of contracts in a growing market suggests this should be more of a mid size company with a capitalisation over £300m. | tell sid
10/5/2017 09:05 | This is mad, sold out now. Good luck if you're staying in but this looks so far overbought it's going to lead to burnt fingers. | argylerich
10/5/2017 09:01 | up 30 percent now | jamesd888
10/5/2017 08:59 | Unbelievable !!!!Never expected this to reach these levels... so soonWhat is driving this meteoric rise? | jailbird
10/5/2017 08:59 | up 25 percent | jamesd888
