10/5/2017 08:08 | hottingup here is the official press release 8/5/2017 from HM Government Gibralter reconfirming the waste water contract is to be awarded later this year which you can substitute for the article from GibTV in your heading. "After taking advice from experts and a great deal of planning, the Government repeats its intention to award the relevant contract later this year." www.gibraltar.gov.gi This is looking incredibly good for MWG. | top tips

A statement read: “The GSD say it is ‘shameful̵ “After taking advice from experts and a great deal of planning, the Government repeats its intention to award the relevant contract later this year.” www.yourgibraltartv. www.chronicle.gi/201 | hottingup

09/5/2017 12:04 | HahaLooks like it's dropping as the Pumpers exit. The rest of you carry on lying and spouting unrealistic prices. You showing a loss from this mornings premature purchase? | apfindley
09/5/2017 11:42 | Agreed but happy with 200p if or when it comes. | hottingup
09/5/2017 11:41 | Well AG you have now shown your true colours as a deramper. No proving time is needed as they have already been proving their technology in recent years and through contract wins, e.g. China, India, middle east. MWG would not have won preferred bidder status for Gib in 2014 if the tech was not good to go already, which it now is. Obviously a high status high value contract like Gibralter would as TT pointed out, showcase that particular technology and help win other contracts, while the revenues would underpin the security of the business for at least 20 years. Obviously as you have been holding for 10 years at a loss and probably sold some recently you feel bitter about not getting back in fully at the start of the recent recovery. | hottingup
09/5/2017 11:31 | Bamboo, a good pump and dump has to base it's story on something, I agree that mwg may be turning a corner but a re-rating to this level? Saying that the Gib contract is 'transformational' and will value the company at over £150million ?????????? It's probably worth sod all in the short term and there will be 5 years proving time minimum for the tech as we've seen elsewhere. | argylerich
09/5/2017 11:18 | AR, This rise in the share price has been going on for over a month now, which makes me think there is much more to it than a p&d. Potential t/o? There are a number of large shareholders that would need to be on-side, but since this is the raison d'être for IPO Groups existence, I don't see why it shouldn't happen. | bamboo2
09/5/2017 10:53 | "I see the derampers have arrived." Sorry to ruin your story pal but I've been around this share for 10 years | argylerich
09/5/2017 10:41 | Thanks. Looks good. Some profit taking along the way by weak holders is inevitable but its obviously worth a lot more with Gibralter and the rest of the business turning around since the new strategy in 2015. I understand that other contracts across their product range are in the pipeline to be announced and there is also the graphene involvement. Not sure about 200p but 140p would about equal the previous high when they were at a much less advanced stage so presumably 150p - 175p would seem about right now. | tell sid

09/5/2017 10:37 | I see the derampers have arrived. Just to recap on Gibralter. In 2014 MWG were selected for design, build and running of a new waste water treatment plant in Gibralter, serving 60,000 people. Implementation was delayed by government indicision. www.uk.advfn.com/sto In March 2017 MWG stated, "We remain the preferred bidder for a wastewater project in Gibraltar. Modern Water has completed its current obligations and continues to assist in the project's advancement". The EU court ruling last week and the new Gibralter Government's response now indicate it will go ahead. "This took a great deal of time to resolve. At present discussions on the funding model for the plant are in an advanced stage and the government will be making a full announcement soon." www.gibraltar.gov.gi Its worth £millions to MWG and will initially run for 20 years, so underpinning revenues for the company for many years to come and further showcasing MWG to the world. Its transformational. 150p to 200p. | top tips
09/5/2017 10:27 | No RNS so far despite others on the Muppet thread claiming it's been released. Just looks like plain old pump and dump to me. | argylerich
09/5/2017 10:10 | Then add in the recent expansion in India, middle east, far east, etc. It all adds up. 150p to 200p. | top tips
