if the press reports are accurate, then they were right to sack Jolyon though we haven't heard his side of the story...good company agreed but apparently more highly rated in p/e terms than others.

It’s true that the shares are thinly traded, which explains the wide spread between bid and offer prices (see table), but they are rated on an earnings multiple about equal to the forecast EPS growth rate out to 2020-21 and offer a nice dividend yield. BTW my experience is the spread is a lot less than advertised.

Yes there houses are cheap but yet still 75% of their sales are coming from help to buy so I still think it will impact them.

their houses are so cheap and in demand that, unless the economy turns really ugly, the demise of 'help to buy yachts for executives', as the FT calls it, will make little difference IMO.

Drop will relate to help to buy being phased out by government. From memory 75% of their sales are help to buy. Scheme stops in 2020.

Good update this morning and the company looks to be trading well with the strength moving through into this coming year. I don't understand why there has been a wobble in the share price over the last couple of weeks but that seems to be over now with the price recovered to pre-wobble levels. With low cost housing allegedly high on the government's objectives GLE should continue to prosper.

Half year results Mon 27th Feb so not long to wait. From the statement in Jan they should be positive. The government continue to emphasise the need for low cost city housing which should be positive for Gleeson.
