Excellent update and well through £3 :)) Trading Performance The Group will deliver a level of profitability from the business units for the year ending 30 June 2013, materially ahead of market expectations. In addition to the strong trading performances of the business units, the Group will be recording an exceptional credit arising from the sale of its last remaining PFI investment, as previously announced, and the expected release of a prior year provision. The Group continues to be in a strong cash position with cash balances at 30 June 2013 of GBP9.7m.

The trackers have not started yet they will wait till after the FTSE meeting on 12 June before they start buying, they have to be done by the close on Friday 21 so thats the day you will see the biggest volumes in the index names in and out. The 2 buyers from Monday are both active not trackers

i don't think we have quite arrrived yet. Shareholder list is very thin with regards to institutional investors and with one of the main index players out there (so i am told) no where near to being filled i think you will see the next big tranche of shares trading at 300p+

During the rise, is it not curious that no share stake buys or sells have been announced ? Might this suggest that some careful warehousing is taking place. Bidder: Galliford ?

Valuation is a bit bonkers here. I've sold my holding. Cheers, Steve.

Anyone recall the tentative bid approach before the last banking crisis ? My question is, where did that predatory stake end up ?

Buyers giving 205, these could run further I think the asset value is understated and the whole sector is on the charge!

Thanks Exb : very much agree with you about the quality of management and the simplicity - and transparency - of the business model.

I met the company recently and tried to buy more at 180, which I did not do as there were already 3 buyers, I would buy more if they come back to the 190 ish level. Good quality management and simple business model both of which I like. The budget measures will help they could do with buying some more land for development as this could strongly increase demand for their homes.

Amazing that this is so low profile - fortunately that is not reflected in the share price performance ! Will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of Gideon's 'cheaper homes for beer drinkers who can't really afford to pay for them but don't worry the Government will bail you out if it all goes t*ts up' policy IMHO, at least until it all goes t*ts up !!!
