05/8/2010 12:04 | SS I'm fine and doing well, hope you are too. Good day today as GKP are on a charge, been in there since about 12p from last year ( only managed to grab a few before they raced up ) and only sold 15% of my holding. Looking for at least £5-10+ there from a takeover. VGM up and looks ready for a substantial charge over the next six months with increases in production and grades. Maybe heading towards 10p in the next year from where they are now at about 1.9p. Had a look at Cluff as you mentioned them previously, they look OK but not in there. A good few golds about at the moment, both explorers and early stage production. Spoilt for choice really in this sector but am very happy with VGM in particular. Where are the former directrs of GEX now I wonder --- watching the GF reports and hanging their heads in shame I hope !! | ![]() 1waving

05/8/2010 10:34 | From Gold Fields Q4 report ending June 2010:-- "At the Yanfolila Project in southern Mali, Gold Fields has now completed 23,286 metres of core, 14,167 metres of RC and 87,320 metres of aircore drilling since taking over full control of the project in November 2009. Framework and infill RC and diamond drilling has been used to delineate shallow resources over Komana East and West deposits as well as to test eight initial drill targets over five licenses. The aircore drilling has been used to sample the bedrock though the laterite cover which has outlined new target areas with encouraging intercepts at Gonka, Bokoro North, Bokoro Main and Sanioumale West. Regional soil sampling was also completed over four Reconnaissance Licenses that generated 10,700 soil samples assayed for gold and multi-elements." -------------------- Sankarani area really is loaded -- strikes a plenty. Now wheres that bucket and spade gone !! Anyone for a bit of artisanal mining. | ![]() 1waving

12/7/2010 16:06 | Hi 1W - Many thanks for keeping an eye on this tragic story. I really did think at one stage (for about 2 years) that GEX would provide a wonderful story for my pension and my kids. Such a disappointment!!! For SO many good people here too. Thanks SS. I W - Im in KMR but at a substantially higher price than its current level though I expect to break even and even make a good few , eventually. | ![]() bongo bwana

01/6/2010 09:08 | So there was no value in lead /zinc tailings then ?. Some would see it differently. The previous management of GEX should be hanging their heads in shame,in selling its shareholders down the river. | ![]() share_shark
19/5/2010 18:08 | Hugh should really have held out for 10p minimum: | ![]() pecker1

12/5/2010 22:19 | Latest GF quarterly report released 7th May At the Yanfolila project (including the Komana and Sankarani Projects) in southern Mali, the resource delineation drilling programme continued at the Komana East and West deposit areas. Ground geophysical surveys at Komana East have outlined a possible 2.6 kilometre south extension of the target. Target generation using geophysics and aircore drilling is in progress elsewhere on the Komana leases. Other exploration activities in the belt include the ongoing initial drilling programmes on the Bokoro, Finguana, and Sanioumale targets. Target definition results from the Solona license have identified several prospect areas which merit initial drilling testing. ------------------ | ![]() 1waving
