Whats the time frame on drilling etc... Like that they didn't raise too much money at the 7p mark and gave themselves options there as shows they don't want to dilute too much at a low price

TC1 - My plans appear to be waste paper (once again) but Im not losing - Im just not gaining as much as wanted.

If this steady progress continues we will all be very happy come the AGM.

Cash rich GEX will be moving heaven and earth to complete the next phase of their Mali based drilling/exploration programme before the onset of the rainy season (circa end July). An excellent progress report or more might be expected at the AGM. Before then the Annual Report might even be exciting, even to relatively neutral observers and I understand that there are still a number of very interested NO's around at present.

I will be in attendance at the AGM.

I wonder if Randgold are still neutral?

CS - there cant be too many loose holders of GEX capital right now - one would need their head examined to be a seller when the company is on the cusp of something pretty major in Mali and Im certainly NOT talking about the Goldfields deal.

Dont take Ur eyes of the Solona license area either. This has major potential to be another jewel in GEX's crown in addition to the Komana jewel.

The next phase of GEX's ascendency may have commenced earlier than most of us expected.

Thats the very one TC1.

I would be both relieved and delighted with a 1:1 swap on nutra deal announcement though Id have to reappraise its future potential at that time.

GEX will be a VERY different company from the one it is now in 5 years time.

If it is still around, that is.

The latest trance of options is not unexpected and their allocation is only right and proper in the circumstances. I love to see good management incentivised to deliver shareholder value.

I have 1.25million shares in another Plc (admitttedly share price is poorly performing right now but it wont always be) and when their maturation comes to pass the proceeds will be applied to GEX - and i expect this to happen before the end of the 2006 calendar year.

Hows that for a vote of confidence!

EXCELLENT news but Im a bit surprised GEX didnt seek more. Drilling doesnt come cheap.

At least its enough for the next leg of the Komana exploration and the exploration of Solona licence area. Perhaps we will have the results for the AGM.

pp...I think you probably hit the nail on the head......they must really have had a story to tell to get funds at 7p with the market price as it is...jmo.
