26/10/2007 21:56 | Hello all, Webcast interview with Hugh McCullough on www.t1ps.com may shed some light on developments. | farley68
26/10/2007 19:22 | The assays are done at Morila in Mali so the turnaround is far quicker than for most other explorers. | ![]() pecker1

24/10/2007 17:10 | Irish Examiner today. 24 October 2007 Glencar mining hits golden jackpot in Africa By Brian O'Mahony, Chief Business Correspondent GLENCAR MINING, the AIM and IEX listed company with gold exploration interests in Africa, said yesterday a preliminary independent resource study by SRK Consulting (Britain) has reported a mineral resource of 520,000 ounces of gold at Komana West in Mali. Gold was trading at $756 (530) per ounce yesterday, with Gold and Silver Investments of Dublin forecasting a boom in prices as concerns about the dollar force investors to look for safe havens for their funds. Shares in the company were unchanged at 14 cent in Dublin yesterday. This independent estimate provides a background to the new intensive drilling campaign about to commence at Komana West, in Mali. With infill drilling, a further 200,000 ounces of gold may be established, but more drilling will be required to establish that level of gold at the Komana West drilling site in Mali, analysts said | ![]() valentine
24/10/2007 10:06 | haydock, Yes, GEX is now in the fortunate position of being able to add value cheaply by proving up the resource. As a rough guess, I would expect every dollar we spend on drilling at Komana, both to find new oz and to increase confidence in the oz we have already found, to add at least five or six dollars to the value of the deposit(s). Hopefully, the drilling this season should take us up to the stage where a pre-feasibilty study is justified. | ![]() pecker1
24/10/2007 08:56 | The diffence between CEY & GEX is that cey has 9-11 drills all the time every day & is moving them around to new areas. GEX has not yet reached this intensity, but don't forget the j/v, so it's 2 + the j/v, with a possible j/v to come. In other words gex is covered at the share price value, with drilling about to begin with several drills, minimum this season of 3? By the way the thoughts above on value/ ounces do not include any j/v ounces, {not proved yet?} Like cey however they now have a good idea where to drill this season to rapidly increase the ounces, it will not take long to prove the questionable areas, & work harder on the stepping stones, at depth & length, probably particularly depth. I wonder if like cey we will start to have regular releases of new ounces? My thoughts anyway, glass half full of course. | ![]() haydock
24/10/2007 07:22 | Agreed Val but let us not overlook the invaluable contribution of Kieran H and the other two lads who choose to stay quietly in the background. | ![]() bongo bwana
23/10/2007 23:21 | What has TW heard then to suddenly give a speculative buy from hold earlier...also volumes are trading very low considering we had news maybe sometime before we see anything like CEY.... | davenic
23/10/2007 21:07 | Will be very interesting to see how this develops. GEX have a lot going for them - looking forward to the new drill season and any JV news. | ![]() serpicouk

23/10/2007 18:35 | Oracle - as always spot on. Disappointing movements in share price today but as I said previously intensive drilling programme to continue in the immediate future. Anyone would think that GEX has one license, lets not forget the other acreage, particularly Solana.... | ![]() robbi123

23/10/2007 16:57 | 50k traded suggests there wasn't that much excitment, unless there are some larger trades to be announced. When I brought in i was told there was a real shortage of stock on the Irish side, so I guess the MMs didn't want to get caught there. They'll balance the books soon i'm sure. | ![]() stuart14
23/10/2007 16:56 | Well Searson's will be a-buzz tonight then? As long as they have a few shillings left after the slaking has finished. A city where everyone complains about the price of a pint but is never short of the means for getting one. | ![]() valentine
