29/7/2011 20:57 | The previous connections of Kirsh with Jamie Ritblatt was always the key here for me. I always suspected that a pincer movement was the way they would go....but hey ho...still in good profit so can't complain. What a ride this has been, and what a missed opportunity. Good luck to all on future investments!..... Apart from Baldeagle5...I just hope nobody bought in on the sad deluded ramblings of this complete and utter loser with his pitiful claims of insider knowledge..for what....to endear himself to anonymous posters..... whos common goal is only to make some money in this already corrupt and manipulated system. Get a life you complete and utter to55er! sorry all....had to get that off my chest! All the best....Ianio! :-) | ianio5691
29/7/2011 20:36 | Game over I believe, they don't need 75% of the company to delist. Now they have control, they can request a delisting on the basis that 75% or more of the stock is held by major shareholders i.e. there is less than 25% in public ownership (holders with less than 3% (might be 5%) holding. So, if Kifin still holding, and no RNS to show otherwise, then they can request a delist as 86% approx outside public ownership. Amazing how quickly the Walbrook will find a tenant now I suspect! GLA in future investments, over the term I held this was a good ivestment, with a few twists and turns! Guess we all feel a bit of what if with Minerva, but hey can't complain overall. Enjoy the weekend, still worth a toast to the outcome. Think could have been a lot worse given what appeared to be the weak financial position in the end. IMO, DYOR | clarkey26
29/7/2011 18:12 | I understood that they need 75% to delist, so are they trying to pull a fast one to get further uptake or have they got agreement now with Kifin? The phrase 'subject to any applicable requiremets of the UK listing authority' is this referring to the 75% requirement. They dont appear to be coming clean. 'As set out in paragraph 12 of Part II of the Offer Document, following the Offer becoming, or being declared, unconditional in all respects and subject to any applicable requirements of the UK Listing Authority, Jupiter intends to procure that Minerva applies to the London Stock Exchange to cancel trading in Minerva Shares on its market for listed securities and to the UK Listing Authority to cancel the listing of Minerva Shares on the Official List.' | fireplace22
