The Boliden collaboration agreement was with Buchans Resources not Minco

Bodgit, thanks - wasn't aware the AR was out for Minco.

2nd to last paragraph in the Chairmans statement (online version not check the pdf)
Minco Exploration’s planned exploration programs for 2022 included drill testing Slieve Dart in collaboration with Boliden, up-grading existing targets, and continuing to develop new targets through field work and data interpretation.

I think you are confusing Buchans Resources with Minco Exploration.

Maybe we'll get to know more when the AGM takes place?? It is on Thursday, 8 September 2022. I will not be attending though always appreciate feedback from anyone who does get to attend. Gla.

I see on the Minco website a new entry - Minco Exploration PLC Publishes Annual Report and Accounts 2021. On a quick scan of this, there appears to be no suggestion of any continuing discussions with Boliden about collaboration, earn ins or whatever. I guess that all bets are off there and if that is the case, imho there is no short/medium term prospect of these floating on any exchange. Please do tell me if my quick scan has led me to incorrect conclusions. Gla.

fiachra, I am aware that CDMN trade on Neo. All my shares are with Halifax Share Dealing Limited and they do not trade any Canadian exchange. If I decide to sell CDMN at some point, I will find a broker that does sell on the Neo exchange. I hope by then that Minco and Buchans also will have listed and I hope to transfer all my shares to the same broker who can deal with the markets where all three are listed. That will likely be some time away.... Gla

Given our interests (inter alia) in Manganese with CDMN, Cobalt for Mongoose Mining and Copper, Nickel and Cobalt at Buchan's Resources' I thought it worthwhile skim reading the IEA report. I also watched a TED talk which is also very relevant

(hxxps://www.ted.com/talks/olivia_lazard_the_blind_spots_of_the_green_energy_transition) I got cold shivers watching the TED talk!

Clearly, moves towards a low/no carbon renewable energy future are increasing with huge global strategic implications. There are major implications arising from concentrations of the various sought after resources and where the processing of said minerals takes place. I had not appreciated the dominance of China especially in processing - and by extension 'the West's' vulnerability.

Demand for several minerals/metals such as our interests likely will be turbocharged and I guess any half decent potential resources of Manganese, Nickel or Cobalt in Western territories would be ripe for exploration. Regarding current and future battery storage technologies, the choice of cathode is it seems most relevant for us from the Manganese, Nickel, Cobalt perspective. Anybody care to guess how that one might play out?!

Fwiw, even if I were able to sell CDMN and Buchans Resources (which I cannot, yet) I would hold onto them for the medium term at least. This is NOT intended as any form of investment advice and as always DYOR etc. Gla.

Apologies if this report has been flagged up here already. I'll be reading it over the weekend if time allows. It may well have particular relevance to our CDMN (and their Mongoose Mining) and Buchans Resources. Gla

I note that the Corporate Update also has the same paragraph twice on the first page. Sloppy proof reading methinks....

"We are also exploring several gold properties in central Newfoundland, including three properties being explored as joint ventures, funded largely by joint venture partners."

There now is a document on SEDAR 'ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS 2022
CORPORATE UPDATE' It is worth a read. Negotiations on a Joint Venture with Boliden are continuing....

Edit: There is no specific mention of a public listing. I assume this is because the continuing Boliden negotiations are so important to the future for Buchans Resources. It is of course possible that Boliden may wish to acquire some of the mining opportunities outright. Who knows. If the Boliden negotiations/joint venture does not proceed, then what?? Hmmmm. Gla.

fiachra, no. The Yahoo article was about Canadian Manganese. I was not around to live stream the Buchans AGM and have not (yet?) seen or read anything coming from that. It's all gone a bit too quiet for my liking though that could be good news, or the calm before the storm. We are in stormy market times.... Gla

Thanks ardtole. Have skimmed it and it's a worth a read. In essence, it looks like some time before the real value will out on this one. Unless that is someone launches a cheeky low ball bid in the next year or two - which has been known to happen. There's still 'a way to go' and a lot of capex before we see any significant income stream. I'm quite optimistic though as I'm not getting any younger it would be good to see the value in these materialise before I dematerialise...... Gla.
