14/10/2010 13:31 | CRUMBS ITS WORSE THAN I THOUGHT!!!! SHARES TRADED TODAY, 2 TRADES LAST 27 shares at £9.33 (.0000933 THEY ARE £10 PAR VALUE, THE CLUB HAD ASSUMED THEY WOULD TRADE AT £20 + (equiv to 0.0002) so they could sell them to you at £10 each The lowest price they are permitted to offer them to you at is par value £10 at least the players are safe for nowLOL | mryesyes
14/10/2010 11:23 | it is an open offer, it may be 6 for 1 at £5 but even then there will be an effectively massive, almost unlimited, over application (excess) facility so they are sure of the money and can scale back your excess application as they decide impossible to value this because the players are all "worthless" rejects from other clubs (no resale value); and the players have shown their feelings about being replaced via this new issue by ending abruptly a fine start to the season, and can you blame them, they are all paid weekly with no contract and need to stay uninjured if they have to tout themselves round the lower leagues in addition violence has resurfaced, was bad at QPR but deliberately hushed up talksport covered the fact that milwall are a possible sacrificial lamb if it goes on that they could be demoted to the Ryman or below to scare off the kids starting new violence at other clubs there is talk of FA "no fault" demotions it does not matter if the club is to blame, if they ferment it just by being there time after time they are removed prior to 2018/22 | mryesyes
13/10/2010 16:23 | I have held these shares for 18 months and am thoroughly disappointed with the whole affair. | gordongekko222
13/10/2010 16:06 | what still astounds me is that it is 4 weeks since they announced the fund raising yet still fail to release the details to the market...posters were saying 6 for 1 at £5 two weeks ago and does any company know how much they want to raise but not at what level. | supercity
13/10/2010 11:57 | ........now what you would call a "long-term investment", then bobby.ifa. Should be worth consideraly more in the months and years ahead though. On a serious note, now can Liverpool be worth £300m with the debt they have and their lowly league poisition, and Millwall barely £4m? Valuations are crazy. | smelgy
13/10/2010 11:01 | ..........I suppose it is possible supercity, but I think unlikely. Why go to the bother of consolidating the shares then having new certs printed. They could just as easily have delisted last month and that would have been the end of it. No, I think they won't because if/when permission is granted for the development proposals then the company takes on a whole new meaning. The cheapest way of raising money is via the stock exchange, and it may be that there will be further cash calls to kickstart and fund the building programme. For now it's anybody's guess. | smelgy
13/10/2010 10:04 | Who knows! All i know is that my money invested is now worth a stinking £95 compaired to about £650 originally invested when it was 4p a share FFS - MM | mutleymagic
12/10/2010 18:00 | Smelgy - 12 Oct'10 - 16:27 - 1865 of 1865 "I'm certain it's almost a done deal," "Planning chairman Nicholas Taylor said, "We are obviously in favour of developing the site, but there are severe problems of access and the complicated pattern of land ownership is not yet fully resolved." | fathert
12/10/2010 17:33 | It's looking good ! 'MILLWALL chairman Alan Thorne remains confident of forging ahead with plans to rebuild The Den - despite another setback. Thorne had hoped to clinch approval for the new scheme from Lewisham Council earlier this month, but a crucial committee meeting has been deferred. No decision is likely until planning chiefs meet on January 24. The all-new plans include a major shopping development, sports centre and massive car park. The planning process is almost certain to involve consultations with residents and detailed negotiations between Millwall and the-council. The GLC must also give its approval before the scheme can go ahead. Thorne said, "These plans are far simpler than those submitted when we were in partnership with ASDA. It is in the interest of both Millwall and the council that we reach agreement, as we each own parts of the site." Planning chairman Nicholas Taylor said, "We are obviously in favour of developing the site, but there are severe problems of access and the complicated pattern of land ownership is not yet fully resolved.' | wenlynn
12/10/2010 17:21 | please note the following comments are an opinion of myself and intended to create a discussion...i know no inside information i am just sharing my thoughts and opening them up for discussion. Surely there has to be a strong possibility that Millwall will soon delist from the stock exchange. they have already announced to the market that they intend to raise up to £11m via an open offer, this will be underwritten by Chestnut Hill Ventures to approx £10m, whose chairman is also the Millwall chairman. There have been postings on the internet that the offer price could be a 6 for 1 at £5. I will not do the maths until a formal statement has been released but if you work your own figures out you will probably come to the same conclusion as myself that many existing holders will not take up an offer that requires many multiples of what you currently hold in new investment to take up the offer. This could lead to Chestnut Hill Ventures taking the majority of new shares which along with their current holdings will take them above a 75% holding (dependant on the amount of new shares) ...which i believe is what is required to delist a stock from the market and then force a compulsary takeover (based on Man utd and cadbury takeovers). Any other views??? agree/disagree??? | supercity
12/10/2010 16:27 | ......replicas - I think the request for at least outline planning permission goes before planning at Lewisham council next week, or if not, the week after. I'm certain it's almost a done deal, because there are a lot of "helping the community" things in the proposals so it wouldn't really shine a good light on the council if they rejected it out of hand. As for the open offer details, I've no idea, just keep looking at the letterbox! | smelgy
12/10/2010 06:46 | Thanks Smelgy How long will it take for the Council will give a yes or no decision on plans ? Also, when will Millwall give details of the open offer ? I'm a small holder - just 100 shares !! Thanks REP | replicas1967
11/10/2010 23:43 | ..........REP - I don't think so. Given the falling football attendances over the last 5 years, if Millwall make it eventually to the Premier League, which I doubt they will this year but at least they will stay in the Championship, when eventually they do, a 20,000 capacity will suffice. I hear they will make serious money from the redevelopment alone, which comes before local council within the next fortnight. | smelgy
11/10/2010 23:02 | Smelgy, are there any plans to increase capacity of the New Den, from current 20,000 peeps, during this here regeneration of the area ? Thanks REP | replicas1967
11/10/2010 22:25 | ...........well that's rather sweet of you "get rich quick". In that case, you may find that you "get poor quick", or rather quicker than you envisaged. Good Day. | smelgy
11/10/2010 22:12 | you poor sods...this has been done to squeeze out the small pi's...the next move will be to take mwh private. Anyone thinking off this as a pure property play will get shafted. It will be taken out for peanuts by the greedy few. I'll give it 6 to 12 months | get rich quick
11/10/2010 12:23 | Just found a bit of loose change under the cushion of my Settee and thinking of buying the company outright. I have around £2.83 in total so think that should be sufficient by the end of next week - build some nice flats and MWH can go play on Hackney Marshes or ground share with West Ham - that should bring a bit of entertainment at least. | panasonic scientific calc
