How likely is it that we could be bought out? If so, what would be a fair value for the business?

Liontown JV'ed into Olympio's licence in Western Australia in the Delta Lithium Mt Ida region [hot lithium corridor.]

On the JV news in Apr 2023 Olympio's share jumped up 69%.

Liontown's Geo's have collected hundreds of samples [all taken in grids] and sent it to the ALS lab in Perth and results expected in the Sep Qtr.

The results are going to prove very interesting indeed as to how their geo
evaluation has turned out in the assays.

--
I listened to the interview of the Olympio CEO but he didnt say the sort of
things that the CEO of Mila stated in the Zak interview of 27.7.23.

I have found a few stocks that have clear data but in this case of Mila,
the mkt cap is very entry level and therefore from Mila's CEO, my perception of what he is saying is that after Liontown talks about us ie Mila's JV, their Aussie shareholders will want to buy into Mila given "WHAT THIS COULD POTENTIALLY MEAN".

It is also puzzling why Liontown has NOT yet RNS/ANN the JV with Mila except to tweet about it and use Mila's RNS?

Lastly, "MATERIAL TO THEM" as in material to Liontown ? It would take a big
discovery would it not to be MATERIAL to Liontown?

This is one of the most puzzling data to unravel. As far, as I know, spodumene pegmatites have outcrops in places and Evergreen is using Core Lithium ANT tech to locate deeper lithium.

So, how does the CEO of Mila know to state in MILA'S RNS, 27.7.23:
"IN REJECTING THE ALBERMARLE APPROACH, Liontown asserted its belief that the BID
SUBSTANTIALLY UNDERVALUED LIONTOWN
highlighting the SIGNIFICANT C O M M E R C I A L VALUE of the lithium mineralisation POTENTIAL ON OUR DOOR - S T E P."!!! Albermarle offered A$5.5bn for Liontown.

Found out more about Tim Goyder, the CEO of Liontown.

He is a billionaire via Chalice Mining $2.8bn mkt cap and Liontown $6bn mkt cap.
Liontown also spun out two other co's which was mentioned by Stockhead.com.

I checked Liontown had done a JV with Olympio who has a licence in W.Australia near
the Mt Ida lithium hot corridor.

This is due to Red Dirt, later renamed Delta Lithium finding lithium at Mt Ida mine from old cores and subsequently they also found more lithium nr their Mt Ida site. That caused Gina Rinehart to JV into Mt Mason, next door and also to find lithium. So, Mr Goyder is nuanced about lithium hot spots.

So, Goyder is also branching out Liontown's lithium interests.

I recall some time ago, Liontown in the early days owned CORE LITHIUM'S FINNISS PROJECT, Northern Territory, Australia but had to concentrate on Kathleen Valley lithium in W.Australia.

Core is now a $bn co ---so Goyder seems to have the touch for lithium from Liontown Resources & Finnis.

Liontown's Kathleen Valley will produce NEXT YEAR in 2024 ie lithium nmine.
So, not surprised Liontown is looking for more lithium nearby ie Mila so one can hope that Goyder....

P.S. Mila will get 16% of the lithium per Mila CEO in his interview and some articles also quote this. On the other Mila forum on this site, someone thinks it is 10%.

Liontown has not yet RNS'ed the Liontown JV with Mila Resources yet.

However, Liontown has just TWEETED , 5 hrs ago:

"$LTR has agreed terms with @MilaResources to acquire up to 80% of the lithium rights
under an exploration licence approximately 8km south of Kathleen Valley.
Find out more: bit.ly/3Oy6h5l ." [Screen shot also of the LTR logo and JV]

When one clicks on to the find out more, it takes one to the MILA RESOURCES , 27.7.23 RNS stating:

"Mark Stephenson commented:
...most recently evidenced by a proposed A$5.5 bn bid for Liontown by Albermarle Corp, 1 of the largest lithium producer in the world.

In rejecting the Albermarle approach, Liontown asserted its belief that the bid substantially undervalued Liontown, HIGHLIGHTING the SIGNIFICANT
COMMERCIAL VALUE of the LITHIUM MINERALISATION potential ON OUR D O O R S T E P."

Comment:
Stunning. I checked on Mila Resources Twitter and found that Mila themselves had also RE-TWEETED LIONTOWN'S tweet of today, Fri, 28 July 2023, 5 hrs ago.
[see the re-tweet on top of their timeline]
[Liontown 28.7.23]

Stunning that Liontown themselves now tweet about the JV with Mila but quote Mila's RNS of yesterday, 27.7.23 and what Mila's CEO stated above and the reason why
the bid by Albermarle was REJECTED by Liontown due to lithium potential on "OUR DOORSTEP." Our , as in Mila's E36/...licence.

There are two northern gold targets which could in effect now be explored for free.

Exploration drilling has already been undertaken at Sturrock, where zones of highly anomalous gold grades were identified. 12 new holes and electromagnetic surveys totalling ~2,400m were planned but haven't yet happened. Two untested anomalous gold target areas, which includes Powell, required further field investigation for potential future drill testing. We may now get a few LTR holes there as well as Sturrock....

The pending Coffey assays may also refocus attention back there after the end of year disappointment.

Early days, but should LTR find lithium on the license things will get very interesting here.

I note that LTR have DSO Direct Shipping Ore on their license, they dig it up and ship it, extremely good for costs.

Blimey! LTR are not messing around Count. They are clearly planning on staying a while and no doubt throwing a few party's. Their quarterly report is out today if anyone is interested. It should definitely be worth a read. With all this going on, surely we can look to a share price of at least 10p? Any thoughts guys?

A couple of kms away...

Then, on the other side of our license you have this...

BGL market cap is 830m GBP (1.6b AUD) more than DOUBLE GGPs market cap. MILAs license is next to both of these Aussie giants.

The big kahuna is Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR), a former penny dreadful which REJECTED a more than $5 billion cash offer from Albemarle for its 500,000tpa Kathleen Valley mine in WA.

Its venerable chairman Tim Goyder outlined the rationale for that stubbornness at a conference in May:

“We believe that the cash flow that this project is going to generate over two years will pay for it (Albemarle’s offer price),” he said at the Resources Rising Stars Conference on the Gold Coast.

“So we’re two and a half billion dollars a year of free cash flow.

“So you know, we’re not selling this company on consensus, I told Kent there (Albemarle boss Kent J. Masters) my friend in Albemarle, and so we’ll just see what happens.”

Maybe they tried to buy the whole company but the BOD refused. Gresham turned down several offers before accepting the price they thought their company is worth.
