Looking positive, I've continued to average down over the past couple of days. The fundamental numbers and company valuation are way of of wack. Personally I see a big re-rating after the next results when the cost reduction will start to be seen.

I was worried when I first read it but it states there has been no data breach so really not an issue. Still could be a trigger for shorts unfortunately, anything negative these days causes an overreaction.

This Guardian article, note none of the more worthy mainstream business press are showing any interest, is years old...The coin counting software was deployed back in 2016 so been around nearly 7 years, funny how a whistle blower says there is now an issue, really, probably a disgruntled ex-employee recently made redundant... what a complete t@sser!

That's most peoples get out even. The majority shareholder is averaged about this price. Would be nice to see it around 1.00, then most people could walk away clean

"he Bank of England is looking into allegations that Metro Bank placed customers' data at risk through the misuse of software that lies at the heart of a long-simmering legal tussle. The person that contacted it alleged that the software linking Metro's Magic Money Machines to customer accounts had not been made for that purpose and potentially created weaknesses in the system. Metro allegedly made matters worse by sharing the source code for the machines with other parties. - The Guardian"

Really encouraged to see the 30p placing price held even with the volume of shorters.

I am a BUYER and have held the corporate bonds since 2018.

I am sticking with them and have several business accounts utilising their services.

This is a mega turnaround opportunity IMO.

In the next 24 months the stock will get back up to 100p.

Yes there is risk.

But if there was no risk the shares would be undervalued.

I think the risk/reward is now in favour of the buyer.
