They bought metro bank this morning. The short at 29.9p was only cover for their buy at 1800p

When some of the posters on here are the same bunch that were shorting RR when they were less than 80p and have continually opened shorts all the way to £4 then then this stock needs to be looked at as a serious recovery play !

Anyone sane is banking and shopping online. City centres are mainly for drinking and begging these days, both reputable activities, but inconsistent with banking imo

paul, I agree.

Joseph I've seen your comment on the chat listing page under your 'kreature' name (filtered on here) about what sane people do. YOU are the last person who would know what SANE people do, given that your daily activity is gibbering with yourself on dozens of fake advfn accounts. All day! Get yourself a girlfriend. Or a boyfriend. Find someone who can help you live like a normal person.

A quick reminder of some of the Joseph Sheedy accounts used on here:

My take on the current situation the market has well over done the situation I suspect the fear being mugged off as they were back in 2019 with the accounting scandel.

However the new CFO looks very credible and would have done his due dilligence before taking the job.

Both The Co-operative Bank and Virgin Money operate a branch structure and are both profitable delivering net profit margins of between 15% and 25% and despite not having any Security Deposit Box revenues.

The key issue and no doubt what Gilinksi has focused on is the cost base, it needs a radical overall, and he has spotted the opportunity bring the cost base down similar to the Co-operative Bank and Virgin Money levels and a voila Metro Bank is profitable, the share price rises, and Gilinksi doubles or trebles his money in a year or two when selling onto a bigger Bank rival as he's seen the M&A pressures in a highly competitive bank market..He's done the exact same before and undoubtedly sees the once in a lifetime opportunity here, a vastly undervalued bank, with an inflated cost base, ripe for turnaround.
