So you cant technically stop shorting can you?
but you seem to think that banning stock to borrow will stop share price collapses

It wont - it will make it worse as you see in other countries

why?

institutions cant loan out to a lending market - everyone dumping as fast as possible

evidence is around the globe

just need to look

Im afraid tulvart you lost the argument and now grasp at straws

What you need to do stem the loss on portfolio, and then figure out how to make in all markets

Maybe i dont know more than you, but as i said prior

advisory is far different to market execution. Its why you are -5% now
and im raking it in haha

Come on SR, lets be honest you don't understand the market like I do, if you did you would not even mention PUT options! that was your failure to me!

AS a point in case - lets say Muddy Waters called NMC a big "sell" (not short) due to their view on accounts.

DO you think that no shorting stems sellers? Its effectively the same thing

If you bought a ftse tracker in november 1999, you had to wait to 2015 for capital to breakeven, suffer again , and then eventually gain 10% - of course that was a massive loss anyway - given inflation

but then if you bought april 2009, you prob made 80% as long as your sell side skills were sharp to spot it

All about timing

every instrument is different for every investor - just depends where executed and did/did not sell
