I think the broadcast that hit home the most to me last night was when they were interviewing a number of Drs in Iran, they were advising that they never had seen anything like it and pleading people to take care. Shortly afterwards the reporter advised that all of them, that’s all of them, had died. Brought it home to me in a big way.

Formula one teams are making decent progress on ventilators

Italian doctors are saying on tv daily - its nothing like the flu. Totally different which is obvious on daily news - yet most keep referring to the flu

Can’t believe what I’m seeing on other boards this morning.

In summary, why are people in a panic this is not as bad as the flu. This will be over by Easter, and then the market will fly.

FFS the hospitals are being hit by a tsunami of patients day after day and deaths are increasing day on day. Never seen this happen with the common cold/flu. Maybe I’m wrong. We’re not even seeing the peak. Hospitals are being inundated with people in their early 30’s and 40’s with no underlying health, and these are also dying.
This thing is highly contagious and not a mild winter cold. When it hits the 3rd world countries we’re going to see hell on earth.

As for the markets, lockdown has to be much longer, surely, even if we get through this the amount of stimulus required to get the economy back up and running could be in the trillions. As a country I can’t get my head around how we’re ever going to repay this. Financial crisis austerity lasted for 12years are we saying 50years? Not one politician will discuss it.

Who in their right mind believes in a V shaped recovery.

I’d be more interested in how can we get hold of 100k ventilators.

In a bull market 99 of 100 are experts. I'm including past and present from the city

But then comes the test

1 of 100 are experts now. Including past and present from the city.

I think by now, 98% of bulls even from early doors post 2008, have yielded any profit and even Base capital

That's the business

Got go know both sides of da coin

The wolves would have ripped him apart even as a grown man.
We fought numerous packs of wolves as young children, cast out only to return, stronger and faster.
Wardy = dog food.

Hahaha.

Wardy the txsser is back. Wasn’t he one of those that predicted NMC was a great investment and before that Debenhams, Sirius Minerals, and Thomas Cook?
Man, that is someone I’d follow into a hole. A deeeeeeek amongst men.

Got a feeling we’re going to see a bloodbath on the markets tomorrow. Just feel the negativity rising. If you’ve seen any government interviews this morning I ask the question why not be honest and open with your people?
You can only protect business for so long and then it has to be about Human health. Let’s see how long it takes for them to say do not leave home unless you’re supporting the emergency services.
How many straight questions could MG duck this morning, I counted at least 10.
You’ve not answered the question MG, let me ask you it again. You’ve still not answered the question MG, let me ask you again. I would have asked the producer to cut the interview just pointless.

Every member of my family thought MG would make a good PM, I hope they’re hanging their head in shame this morning.

There is no skill in dropping 40% and coming back to 60%. .

In my book the fund has cost clients a minimum 80% over time
