29/3/2020 13:46 | Too many here, believe a desk of past or present makes them professional No such thing really as pros in direct markets your either good or your not. thats it | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:45 | You won't get a fund that can attack! and even if you did then other funds would bet against you. | turvart
29/3/2020 13:44 | dont get me wrong tulvart - i love to buy too. But in the right time. Thats sure not now so on the buy side, il be thrashing you there too. Assured | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:42 | What good are yar 99 mates, when i only need one major fund to join the attack :) | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:42 | And no, not mean leveraged risk - as i say, assured stops - truly less risk than any holder, by far | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:41 | SR, There is no need to short if you know what you are doing, let me put it this way, you pick on an individual stock, what about I bring 99 mates along to stop you? | turvart
29/3/2020 13:41 | Beat tha and guess what - i assure you my risk fix was a hell of a lot less than most investors too | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:40 | Doesnt work that way tulvart for much of the period i had capital locked down median stops i was knocking out up to 500% on capital as instruments fell 30-60% | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:38 | Turvart29 Mar '20 - 13:36 - 44977 of 44978 0 0 0 SR, You think your beat me in the next 5 years but rest assured you won't!, I will agree that you beat me over the last 3 weeks, but did you? I have brought my pension to a 5% loss how many people with pension funds brag about such a small loss? so on those figures SR I may of actually beat you! ......... what i meant was, my returns of the last 3 weeks (never mind since xmas), has already made yield you could not hope to compete with in the next five years. Thats the joy of shorting the right periods. | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:36 | Also there is the old adage - buy low sell high When you buy low - it is purely to profit from drops or indeed, even shorters work in some places Isnt it a bit hypocritical to complain about shorters, when you are first in line to try find the value from them? True moral would say, i cant buy low because i dont like who drove it there and i feel sorry for the other bulls | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:36 | SR, You think your beat me in the next 5 years but rest assured you won't!, I will agree that you beat me over the last 3 weeks, but did you? 29/3/2020 13:34 | Ok so you never execute a physical short. That does not mean you do not intend to profit from falling markets though - via other buys And once you press that execution button, please dont tell me you dont wish collapse on the the opposite market. Of course you do we are morally same - i just dont hide it :) | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:32 | Beat you for the next 5 years, in the last 3 weeks turvart | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:30 | I never short because I have always been a fantastic trader and never needed to resort to such measures, bringing my pension back to normality is now 6100 on the FTSE 100! And I have measures put in place for the FTSE 100 hitting bottom of which is 4400 IMO! You won't beat me I tell you! | turvart
29/3/2020 13:26 | Expect big div slaughters very soon. First debt to get hit on head | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:25 | Sure - bulls of ten years slaughtered - no foresight from the present same for shorters when near the end of this cycle thats markets | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:24 | The problem with shorters at the moment is they are not looking at the future picture, the yield on the FTSE 100 is very good, so the more they push it down it becomes like trying to compress very hard rubber and it bounces back the harder they press it! This Virus will be old news in months to come and Survival of the fittest ( Like ME) will take full advantage in my pension scheme and shorters will help me along the way. | turvart
29/3/2020 13:22 | There is no hiding we are all in any buy side hoping something else takes the brunt all shorters . No escape morally loooool | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:16 | Only the ones with small Willy’s and no sense of humour. | ![]() smartie6
29/3/2020 13:11 | They’ve been trying to produce a onestop vaccine for over 10years in the states. Lots of investment. If they can’t do it after 10years they will never do it now. A lot also prosecuted for being less truthful with the facts. Something akin to the 18th and 19th century travelling salesmen. Come and get your “Dr Smarties elixir” rub it on your feet and you’ll never have toothache again. | ![]() smartie6
29/3/2020 13:07 | I know china isnt reliable data just pointing it out | sentimentrules
29/3/2020 13:06 | A friend in Thailand says china are reporting four types of covid 19 classed A-D And anoither scientist suggests it has mutated at least 40 times since arrived Tough work for those trying to develop vaccines | sentimentrules |
