23/5/2024 10:18 | Standard Pavlovian sell on news response but, given the tremendous financial metrics of the business & nascent expansion plans to be fleshed out in coming months, I just cant see this staying this cheap for long. Cash pile noticeably growing with every passing week. Q2 / H1 results should blow the doors off | mattjos
23/5/2024 09:44 | Taken advantage of the drop and bought a few more | jeanesy
23/5/2024 08:52 | looks like its sell on the news day :( | jeanesy
23/5/2024 08:48 | Amazing year, all at gold levels $400 dollars lower than current, with no loan interest payments the AISC will drop too, 2024 is set up for stunning cash savings/reserves and mine reserve growth through our 1st acquisition, patience will definitely reward. | johnybigarms
23/5/2024 08:19 | A very good set of result. Interesting how they are now making provision for all the interest. Would be good to get it paid and move on. However it really isn't material to their bottom line | izztre
23/5/2024 08:18 | this BB has gone awfully quiet recently. Have the traders moved on ? Any investor comments on the results ? | jeanesy
23/5/2024 07:47 | Results published as promised. Look pretty good to me . | jeanesy
23/5/2024 07:06 | Good update | bazboa
17/5/2024 11:54 | hi hj996 you are indeed correct. The results are not late( it was just co-incidence that they were reported on May 16th the last two years ) and I have been told that they may be with us by the end of next week. | jeanesy
17/5/2024 10:21 | Jeanesy Lots of positives about Gold prices now But with regards to MTL , high gold prices does not mean so much here in the long term 4 years minus mine life £6m loan dispute £90m mkt cap New project risks and costs to bulld and trust in BoD to invest cash pile coming wisely for shareholders Rather have cash returned to shareholders At some point this may become a buy again but as a long them investment in my eyes | jailbird
17/5/2024 10:17 | Last 2 years results were out on 16th May but the one year in 2021 it was 21st May. There is usually a few days leeway as I understand it so too early to perhaps say they are late. | hj996
17/5/2024 09:47 | Mattjos you made a comment a week ago that ' Recent sellers here must be a bit dippy' since then the shareprice has fallen dramatically . Any thoughts ? | jeanesy
17/5/2024 09:44 | Thanks for replyGold spot price is up today! | urchin1
17/5/2024 09:40 | no its because of the delay in results without any explanation i think urchin | jeanesy
17/5/2024 09:38 | What the hell is going off with the share price dropping?MM's desperate for stock maybe! | urchin1
16/5/2024 18:48 | My thoughts were that the delay would be because of the interset problem which has only just been highlighted. I hope i am not wrong . It is poor of the company not say anything in my opinion as it would have most certainly saved the shareprice today. The longer the silence the more likely the shares will fall even further. | jeanesy
16/5/2024 14:27 | I was not worried about the RNS's we had regarding interest etc. I wondered how many companies would send an RNS about this. I thought more about the amount of gold MTL are producing so cheaply. I am heartened by the posts of Johnybigarms. One of the things I like about this share is I can understand digging for gold, I have trouble with computer clouds etc. However I am concerned about the delay in announcing the Final Results for 2023. We have the quarterly production figures but not the Final Results for 2023. The results for 2021 were announced on 16th May 2022, and the results for 2022 on the 16th May 2023. So I was hoping that 2023 might be today. I contacted MTL's PR advisors Tavistocks they thought the change in auditors might be the delay. But are the auditors delaying because of this interest problem and is it more involved than I first thought. I think MTL need to issue a RNS when 2023 Final Results will be announced and when the AGM will be held | goldmineralan
16/5/2024 11:50 | I exited after thinking about the rns. Money wise the interest is not material but the discord between 70% shareholders and company is not a good sign. Doubled my money so decided to take that rather than risk losing the gain. Shame as I had high hopes for significantly higher gain. Will keep watching for re entry if situation gets resolved | gary hindsight
16/5/2024 09:08 | That's me out now - hit my maximum pull back %age rule. Still a decent profit but not as decent as it was a while back.Bull case - this is all overblown and an isolated issue and fundamentals will come through Bear case - the RNS is one example of the FD being sloppy and there are other issues lurkingHave no idea which is right (nor does anyone else) and only time will tell what is the real story. For me price trumps everything and the share price momentum has been punctured.Good luck to those still holding or adding | davr0s
16/5/2024 08:58 | something seems very wrong here . The selling is relentless on no news ! | jeanesy
16/5/2024 08:58 | Curses. I posted the other day that I was getting cold feet about my limit order to top up at 4.3, but I only dropped it to 4.1, and that triggered this morning, bang on 4.1. I should have dropped it lower, or waited for the dust to settle. I hope this drop is just people with big profits taking all or a slice of those profits. I sold out at 5.3 and only days later bought back (too early) at 4.8. With a share which had risen so far so fast it was an obvious move to make. With luck it could move up again quite rapidly when the tide turns and others (better timers than me) buy back in. Fingers crossed, but no more purchases for me unless and until it s clear that tide has turned. | 1knocker
16/5/2024 08:55 | There should be no room for doubt when it comes to loans and interest, so democracy shouldn't come into it, only law.I've come to this company only very recently so I don't know the history. But it should have been clear what the terms were as and when loan repayments were made. I cannot understand how a difference of opinion on this has been allowed to drag out like it has. | backmarker |
