Still keeping all of my 12,146,000 shares in Metals Exploration bought at an average price of 1.66 pence since June 2022.

Hopefully they will perform in a very similar way to AAZ when trading at just 4 pence.

Find it extremely hard to believe that Metals Exploration is still trading in the range of a miserable 2.1 to 2.40 pence today and also in last few days.

I still think that Mtl will perform in a similar way as did AAZ a long time ago.

Would really be great to buy another 12 million shares in Metals Exploration even at 2.5 pence, however i am totally maxed out presently and just have to wait and wait and wait, a bit like the actors and actresses in Casablanca

Extra long term holders since 2004 who still believe that Mtl will come good in 2024, then tell me.

Thanks,

M44 You are totally correct. I admit that my research was totally lacking and I admit this without reservation.

We are both LTHS.

Onwards and upwards for a breakout tomorrow for an upward trend in the region of 3 pence in the next 4 trading days from Monday.

Still holding on to all of my 12.1 million shares in mtl bought at an average price of 1.66 pence, and will be extremely content to sell around 2 million at around 8 pence and the remainder at around 19 to 35 pence in the long term.

Motto ~ Ende gut alles gut.

Best wishes,

Clivee1 - You claim to have read Al the RNS's from MTL and yet here you are stating that MTL have never diluted their shares ever!!!

Back in 2010, when there was an offer of 13p / share there were a lot fewer shares around than there are now. There were 275m shares back in 2010.

How can there now be 2.2b shares if there has never been any dilution?

Looking forward to the day (sometime in January 2024) when our CEO DB announces that Metals Exploration is Debt Free.

Only a very short time to wait. Btw ... some LTHs have been waiting since 2004 and guess what they are all going to finally end up in Profit....reason being....no dilutions ever by Mtl !!
.
I cannot understand why Mtl continues to trade at such a mega discount to its true current value, given its fantastic ultra stability and growth Potential.

Past AAZ type historical concerns maybe ?

Who knows what Candy and Edwards will announce when Debt Free status is announced in an early 2024 RNS including some very detailed underground mine development works to the south of RR that are being right now undertaken from the BOD.

Just sit back and wait........... btw..........I am just a private investor and all the comments above are just my views, hopes and wishes.

Would be great to see Metals Exploration trading at exactly 3 pence on Monday 23rd October.

Reason for me saying this, is that there are a few very astute minnow Professional Trading Bodies presently having around .4 to .75% in Mtl.

I am still holding in excess of 12.1 million shares in Metals Exploration and feel very confident of its long term future.

There will be at least 4.7 million shares traded in Metals Exploration on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th October 2023.

Metals Exploration ("MTL") has released a Q3 update from its Runruno mine in the Philippines, with production of 22koz beating our forecast of 16.7koz. This was principally driven by processing higher grade material and the company is well positioned to meet, and with scope to exceed, guidance for the year of 78koz-81koz. Revenue for the Quarter was US$42.4m with gold sales of 22.7koz. This resulted in US$19m of FCF with net debt falling to US$30.6m at the period end. Negotiations around the elevation of the mezzanine debt to secured status remain ongoing. These are good results with the main upcoming catalysts being hitting guidance for 2023, finalising the mezzanine debt negotiations, and exploration results to extend the mine life at Runruno. We value MTL shares at GBp3.39/share (Prev 3.09/share).

The top end of their revised guidance was 81k, thus based on the graph, they may have already achieved 68k once's leaving only 13k to meet year end guidance or they will beat guidance again. Nice find and looking forward to the RNS confirmation.

22k ounces for Q ending Sept 2023. Looks like someone posted a graph on the website before the RNS comes out. Mining-Operations page.

My guess is a good number of them will be nominee names such as Hargreaves Lansdown, aj bell etc holding for retail investors so I don't think you will glean much from that. There won't be a whole load of institutions

No RNS is going to arrive today!

It would however be great to see an updated list of the largest 25 shareholders in Metals Exploration in the near future.

The last list was issued in April 2023.

Metals Exploration ("MTL") has released its interim financial results following the record first half of operations that saw >US$30m of operating profit and a net debt reduction of US$44.1m. MTL beat their guidance with first half production of 46koz, 64% of the top of the previous full year guidance, with full year guidance being increased to 78koz-81koz of gold. The strong performance of Runruno came despite the fleet needing to be deployed to develop the residual storage impoundment for part of the period and ongoing issues with temperature management in the BIOX circuit. Exploration is ongoing at the mine with a programme being completed in H2, however, no meaningful discoveries have been made to date. We currently forecast 78.2koz for the full year, implying H2'23 production of 32koz, and an All-in sustaining cost ("AISC") of US$1,180/oz sold, within the guidance of US$1,120/oz-US$1,200/oz. We estimate full year revenue of US$150m with EBITDA of US$55m. With Q3 now completed, we expect quarterly production results in the short term with an expectation of a reduction in processed grade from 1.66g/t in Q2 to 1.15g/t in Q3 for 16.7koz of gold production. The stock remains inexpensive, in our view, with 65% upside to our risked target of 3.09p/share (prev 2.73p).

Marmalade, thanks. I was looking for context and detail, not trying to cast doubt. Though I do think it's important to maintain a healthy level of scepticism, especially when it comes to AIM stocks.

swanvesta - The impact will be about 10% extra on the taxes that they have been paying. This was stated during a Q&A session with the CEO a couple of years ago.

Your question suggests that you don't believe the statement in the RNS about the extension to the exemption. The statement is provided by a board that has been dealing with the Philippine government for many years so I felt it prudent to ask what experience you have had in dealing with the Philippine government that makes you think otherwise.
