Have you ever looked at CLA? Also Philippines focused, listed on the LSE and seemingly hidden to investors with zero interest. They rebuffed a takeover offer from Silvercorp last year. Have massive long life copper gold projects. Anyway, if anyone wants to research I have set up a new bb.

Good Evening all Metals Exploration Long Term Holders and last year new investors.

I will NOT be selling any of my 12,146.000 shares in Mtl to a consortium of 3 highly aggressive multimillionaire sharks namely NC his brother and Edwards.

No intention of selling out at a miserable pittance of 4 to 7.4 pence in the next few weeks.

Metals Exploration(LN: MTL)Early stage exploration acquisitionMetals Exploration ("MTL") has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a controlling interest in the 'YMC Group' that holds exploration tenements in the Abra area of northern Luzon in the Philippines that are prospective for gold and copper. The acquisition cost is US$1.6m in cash and options to subscribe for 41m new shares in the company. We view this as a positive for MTL as, based on the current reserve, the company's Runruno mine should be depleted in 2027. These early stage projects, however, appear to be highly prospective and given the company's existing operation in the country it should be well positioned to expedite exploration and development. We value MTL at GBp 4.23/share.

Darren is definitely a capable CEO, he openly admitted not liking investor events, but something like this should be presented in Meet the Investor type event and take any shareholder questions.

Darren Bowden comes across as a very honest individual, he’s promised shareholders real value and asked us to a little bit more patient, he had this planned and it’s coming together, the deal is literally peanuts for us, it’s about 1 weeks gold
Profits, 100g per ton grades mentioned, historically gold rich province, come on

You may be right jonnybigarms. I've held this for a while and have been selling into the profits. I may buy more later. To be honest I just wanted them to run the resource down at Runruno and pay out the profits. I'm now concerned that the excess cash will be poorly used for acquisitions and exploration. The nature of the deal also sits poorly with me. It's basically been bought from senior MTL execs. It's all a little cloak and dagger for me in a country where things aren't always above board. Look at X64. Maybe that one has left too much of a mark on me

amazing, and it’s 1 of many, how many others are in the pipe line, nailed on debt free H12024 and generating $20 million quarter profits, what the hell is not to like, you should be buying not letting go, crazy but it’s your decision

I don't like the deal particularly. I've sold down the majority of what I had left to make this a rump position. Greenfield exploration is very risky and not what I originally bought. Good luck to all holders and will continue to monitor this

Hoping very much to be reading a very detailed positive and uplifting RNS from Metals Exploration on Friday 12th January 2024.

Debt free announcement now or in the very near future.

Proposed Joint Venture Partnership revealed to extend the LOM to 2029/2030.

Still going to keep all of my 12,146,000 Mtl shares to benefit from the long time rewards ala "AAZ 4p"

Another lisence already to jorce JV to extend the mining operations is the rumor.

Not long to find out , should put a rocket up the share price , on a pe of just over 1 .

Good job Bowden with turning the mine around. Poor job Bowden on Investor Relations. Been waiting 2 years for a strategy update. Does this company have a future beyond Runruno LOM? We need to know! Seems insiders are the only ones who do know and you are being paid a fat salary for keeping small investors in the dark.

I think slightly more cash generation than that, I pin remaining debt as $12 million by Dec 31 2023, and as such expect to be debt free by the end of Feb 2024, but we will know soon enough, 1 to 2 weeks time for the results of Q4 and 2023 as a whole.

Am expecting year end Net Debt to be circa $15m & therefore 'Debt Free' status looks to be achievable by end of Q1.

$2,000/oz looks like the new floor for POG & we could well see prices nearer $2,500/oz at some point this year.

The company should start to build a significant cash pile as the year progresses and looking forward to hearing exactly what they plan to do with that (other than continued local exploration).

It’s the dividend statement that sent AAZ flying, once you have an income for holding MTL the price rises on that basis, AAZ rocketed and the dividend ended at around 5%
If MTL can make $80 million clear per annum then at least $20 million would be paid in the form of 0.8p a share, that’s 30% of todays price, so the you can expect to 3 fold the current share price (9p) and it would return a 10% dividend to us loyal shareholders in the short term, long term will require the cash rich company to both expand current land banks or acquire new gold rich land banks, either way MTL will have both the skill and cash to run for decades, MTL being the darlings of the Philippine government with multiple mining awards, licences will be a breeze, where would that take MTLs shareprice? Huge long term upside.
