16/8/2023 19:35 | Have increased my holdings in MTL. Now have 11.215 million shares at average buying price of 1.64 pence since June 2022. Now going to try and wait till January 2024 when the share price might be 5 pence. VGL all LTHs | clivee1
11/8/2023 22:48 | Gut feeling that MTL will be trading over 2.1 pence in 4 working days time. You heard about it here first | clivee1
11/8/2023 21:47 | Have increased my investment in MTL ~ now 10.7 million shares. GLA LTHS | clivee1
06/8/2023 19:33 | Now have exactly 10.1 million shares in MTL. Will try to buy 900,000 at 1.785 on a dip and leave it at that. VGL ALTHs | clivee1
04/8/2023 21:52 | Thanks very much Gary. Great comment !! EGLA LTHS in MTL | ih_836195
04/8/2023 20:04 | Well if they carry on the second half as per first half debt will almost have been repaid by year end. That will give for 2024 additional cash flow of 60-80 million for the year assuming gold grades remain steady, gold price is steady and no exceptional capexThey have target of 80k whereas aaz is only at 50k for this year. Market cap of aaz is 80m vs 39m for mtl. On that basis mtl looks very cheap. By end of 2024 based on the above they would have cash of 60m plus the current cash balance. So cash would exceed market cap if the price is the same as now. So for me it looks cheap but good grades are needed to achieve that for 2024 | gary hindsight
04/8/2023 18:56 | Would be really great if MTL became a junior version of AAZ around Dec 2023 / Feb 2024 LTH views ? | ih_836195
23/7/2023 11:54 | Future potential value for the equity looks very exciting here - even in the absence of any life extension beyond 2027, through exploration and/or other corporate collaboration, albeit that feels unlikely - given the bull market in gold that is set to continue through to 2026/27 (Ref: The Aden Forecast). For conviction DYOR! | sparki2
22/7/2023 07:48 | What did your risk assessment include Marmy? Not much is my guess. So many posts here saying life of mine would be extended, but so far no new reserves found. That may change of course but if they don't find more and grades, tumble as they mine inferior areas, or the gold price falls, or the host country does something nasty with its mining laws...the equity may be worthless. As I've always said, the upside is clear, but so is the downside and you don't seem to recognise it. Investors that are all in on one-mine companies aren't the brightest sparks in the firework box. Show me your detailed workings of all the risks, or you look pretty rampy IMVHO. | eezymunny

20/7/2023 21:03 | EezyMunter - I only post on this share on this forum out of choice. The trolls are such muppets on this share it is easy debunk their nonsense. It is like they are trainee trolls. I don't stick money on horses because I know nothing about them so it would be a foolish thing to do for me. My risk assessment of MTL was undertaken almost four years ago, just before Darren Bowden was appointed and I was happy with the risk back then. With every subsequent record beating quarter the risk has diminished even further and my shares are worth 4x more now. You may call that foolish if you want to but I will just continue watching my investment grow as the debt tumbles. | marmalade44
20/7/2023 17:11 | Apparently you only post on this one share, marmybaby. Have you had a deep think about your risk assessment? Stick it all on Lucky Nag at 10-1. LOLOL | eezymunny
20/7/2023 16:32 | Yes they do. | marmalade44
20/7/2023 15:08 | Does MTL control 100% of the mine? | stockhunters
20/7/2023 14:56 | Who are they that you are asking about? | marmalade44
20/7/2023 14:48 | how much % do they own of the mine? thanks | stockhunters
20/7/2023 10:57 | Yep very insightful, I also think it will either go up or down.. | baddeal
20/7/2023 10:09 | EezyMunter - "I remain firmly of the opinion that this can go both ways." Yet for the last two years you have only posted about gold dropping to $1200/oz and the gold running out before the debt is repaid. The net debt has been halved in the last nine months alone to $48m. The gold has been mined in line with the guidance provided by the board over the last two years. Only one of us has been proved correct over the last two years of you posting here and it hasn't been you. | marmalade44
20/7/2023 09:34 | "will have" suggests certainty marmy. Only the very worst investors feel that certainty in my experience. Grades falling in H2. Reserves dwindling. The future is very far from certain for dozens of reasons. I remain firmly of the opinion that this can go both ways. Other views are rose-tinted IMVHO. | eezymunny
20/7/2023 08:11 | EezyMunter - When the current gold runs out in 2027 the company will have a cash balance of £200m. 9.6p a share to payout. | marmalade44
20/7/2023 07:56 | "An exploration programme in Stages 4 and 5 commenced in Q1 2023, with the objective of identifying new gold resources both in and near-to the current pit-shell design. To date, this drilling has not produced any material gold discoveries." Oops. When the gold runs out... | eezymunny
20/7/2023 07:37 | What an excellent set of results, a credit to the skills of the management team nicely set up in this positive gold environment | sparki2
20/7/2023 07:21 | Fantastic RNS. Record revenue of 49m and debt repayment of 20m. | nesnoor
18/7/2023 22:12 | Grateful to know from all very LTH from 2004 onwards how this is going to pan out around December 2023 ~ ??? | clivee1
18/7/2023 22:04 | Senior debt (as it was) is already paid off. Assume you're talking about the formally mezz debt, which is due to be promoted to senior? | leopoldalcox |
