Bit confused at present. I hold my shares in HBOS and got the corporate action request to decide whether to accept the 13p offer or not. Given the wording made it pretty clear that it was a final offer I accepted, think it was 6th Sept that the decision had to be made. The shares however are still in my account.

Reading the statement on 17th it reads that Solomon cannot buy them until following the challenge. If the challenge is held up do I get another chance to accept or reject?

Just intrigued as to why people are hanging in here. I sold not long after the offer was made and am re-invested elsewhere; with mixed results, so what do I know eh?

I'm not desperate for the money so I'm personally happy to wait and see what transpires.

As benson said, this is daylight robbery and as long as there's a tiny, tiny chance we might get more than 13p per share that's good enough for me.

Surely you don't mind, do you?

2 buys went through today at 13.2 and 13.25.Anybody care to speculate why that would happen?
