where reporting of trades invariably delayed .I'm in the fingersxxd school of thinking from years of reading his chartists views second nature now.100p strong psycological level (apply MPH,CCT etc)o/t AHT making moves it has been threatening to do,growth and divi share.Sensibly market makers have not taken share price up to high to quick.Debate on personal investing trading, general strategies including profit taking and how o/t companies trade may be of use to some.

LEX, Just had a quick 15 minute read on the cct thread and I noticed that it's a share held by CR. The statement put out on the 13th reads very well and I can see 125 by the 28th if the short termers don't kill it.

Will watch for a bit of a fall, as you suggested, and do a bit more reading up on it but with Christmas not too far away now is the time of year that company's like this rake in the profits and attract the interest.

I am on nights so it feels like the middle of the afternoon to me...lol

Fully agree that MPH has been making good short term money and in all honesty wish I had acted on my thought that a good quick profit could be made if I was up for the gamble.

I think you will break 125 on the back of yesterdays results but after all that has gone on in the past would not like to bet that it will not fall back to this level or lower at some stage in the future.

Good luck to all holders and I will take a look at CCT.

The market is indecisive so keep up the good work and continue to do your homework digesting all available information around.Scroll back peeps to look at articles reporting on interims.

See where you're coming from.Your comments are fair and honest ones.You are aware of generally held views on profit taking,would never knock anyone for doing so,advantages to consider, reducing buying average right through to holding freebies.Indeed going back to days when MPH was struggling posted suggesting profit taking banking profits while you had them.Bottom line providing making money doesn't matter what the name of the company.MPH has been paying dividends hence reference earlier and do not have to sell all core holdings.

Healthy debate is important on any thread, we all have experience to share and bias in either direction depending whether holding or not.Welcome contrarian views as reality check and ongoing review of investments.All here to help make money, maximise profits buying low ,selling high .Without repeating them more positive view of MPH in period leading up to and interim results today has seen good rise in share price As you say where we go from here supply & demand will depend on buyers by new and existing.

Sentiment turning positive combined with potential re-rating stock will trade higher with more new investors.Much has been written today and possibly see some follow through remainder of the week.

Paused @ 120p today which fits chart & trades,125p a significant level to break but chart shows significance of 120p first. Stuck in familiar territory between 112.5p and 125p however is making more short term than if buying SL. @ 289p/290p or buying TFC @ 60p or VLK @ 100p.o/t CCT worth a look on retrace back to 100p & pays a dividend.AHT perkier.

MPH gapped up intraday highs 119p-122p before falling back to 117p-120p.Highest ask paid 10K @ 122p with conditions showing after 17:00.All to play for watch if buys start appearing above 125p or sells below 115p.

Lex 32% would be nice but lets face it the only ones to make that kind of cash are those that got in at around 100p or have held for a long time.

Most on here have had to sweat it out watching the price drift lower while the general market climbs but don't get me wrong I am happy for them if they are now back in profit.

As Momentos said this is still sub 25p so in real terms has done nothing in two years.

I posted a while back that I was thinking of buying some but missed out on the OB news so held back but if I had I would be very tempted to take the quick cash like others today.

While I agree that the future does look good I still feel that new buyers are needed to move this to the kind of figures being quoted or more long termers to top up and risk more of their money and profit.

Cr4zyness,I like your post and the edits.Tweaked with my post! Welcome.Point 6 is an important one raised by you as can see the rise & fall in the charts of both AHT & MPH,JRVS is another though not held by me.Came unstuck on both selling AHT @ 170's for smaller profit and MPH 22p-23p at a loss taking a bit of stick here at the time,before share price went on to fall further.Commentary subsequently bearish turning bullish 12p-13p.This all pree 5:1 split.Both recovery plays.Ride your winners.

Lex,

A famous saying " a fool and his money are soon parted"

1. Im not a fool

2. I will leave the day traders to make 10-15%

3. With results like today I am more than happy it will come cream always risers!

4. British Bullsh#t posted a sell on CCT on Thursday the share has risen 18% I dont follow the herd

5. I am not an old timer on here but research good companies with prospects, hence the reason I am here

6. I respect investors with passion for there investment, however dont ever fall in love with it, keep on posting
