>>daverw - 10 Nov'06 - 1685 of 1693 - You are quite correct.

No director will be buying at the moment, unless he fancies a spell in prison.

Rule says no insider buying during the 60 days before a results announcement.

On the other hand they can buy immediately after the announcement is published, and that would also be taken as a serious sign of confidence, as so many sp's tend to go down on results day.

o/t TFC back testing support & worth placing on your monitors.Other day put my hands that share price dropped in context of spreading money across companies and sectors.
In terms of rewards for anyone buying MPH sub 100p intra lows and 100p support have made return of 8% very quickly. There are no guarantees in this game but there's no greater feeling than when an investment and or trade comes good.MPH has been bumping along 100p support for what seems like an eternity.Research and knowledge on this board has been put to good use and looking for directors to meet our expectations.

ARGY2,yes that is why I said watch out for any mm buy appearing which would be a positive sign.Important to see buys appearing above 112.5p. More weight imo in view of significant non executive buying together with other directors.

Dan, wbj, agree, the key interest next week will be the position of the forward S/S orders, which as I understand it too, will be ex YSL.

Good morning lex,
Directors buying, would be nice.
Wouldn't they be in a closed period at the moment with results next week.
We need some of the old MPH Friday magic.

Morning all, Dan I think the Autumn winter is the last for YSL, so as you say the S/S should reflect the revenue less YSL. We deliver YSL to Dec and thats our lot although the shops will still be selling through to around June 07 but that will not be generating any cash for MPH. Good start to day lets hope it continues right up to results next Wednesday.....wbj
PS We could be surprised at the level of revenue generated at the Interim level 40 million+ who knows?

Was the A/W range the last of YSL?, if so, then the S/S forward orders will reflect the post YSL situation!

I hope Brindy is OK, haven't seen him lately, maybe doing a bit of sport somewhere, some place at some time. Personally I liked his style, sharpness of mind and particularly his humour. Best of luck to him, wherever he maybe lurking.

Cheap! cheap! cheap! Peeps confidence will grow on seeing 112.5p > 125p asking themselves of why, oh why did I not buy support @ 100p when so cheap?! Only have to pay a 12% premium to buy now but for how long?

Bumper interims next week,yes that's right next week.@ 100p posted risk to reward 10% downside but 50% upside.Moving up,up,up^

Coiled spring, are we all ready, are we all confident, are we all happy,.Yes sir!

Is MPH ready to trade you bet ya.Positive vibes and positive sentiment.aimvho.Biased therefore DYOR.

Sold the CSR in my ISA some time ago and bought back MPH (after nonexec director buy of £100k). Wasn't sure I'd done the right thing until the last few days. Starting to think this is really going to be on the move soon. If they can give an indication of non YSL turnover (and even better profit) in the interims, that may light the blue touch paper.
