31/8/2006 16:14 | didn't make any difference with SER, and that was a 15:1.....no price hike, no narrowing of spread etc. imo | ![]() deanroberthunt
31/8/2006 16:07 | pwjustdoit - if your post was in response to mine then the price strictly mathematically should be based on say a middle price of 22 pence "on the day" £1.10. However sometimes the price reflects a higher price than my hypothetical price given the fact that there is less stock in the market. That is why I was wondering if anyone had any general statistics of the effect on consolidation for other shares where consolidation has taken place. | donk4

31/8/2006 15:43 | hopefully a minimum of 10% plus on todays price, however it depends if everyone holds on tight to their holdings, could be a lot higher, as always depend on demand, | ![]() cosnova
31/8/2006 15:36 | What price would you think after consolidation ? | pwjustdoit
31/8/2006 15:23 | something for the statisticians. Where there is a consolidation as proposed here, does the price, in real terms, tend to rise or fall post consolidation? What does past evidence in respect of other stocks show (if there is any such record or statistic)? | donk4

31/8/2006 14:30 | Notice of AGM RNS Number:3127I Marchpole Holdings PLC 31 August 2006 31 August 2006 Marchpole Holdings plc ("Marchpole" or the "Company") Notice of Annual General Meeting Proposals for share consolidation and share buy-back On 18 August 2006, Marchpole despatched its annual report and accounts to shareholders in respect of the year ended 31 March 2006, together with a notice of its annual general meeting to be held on 12 September 2006. Copies are available on the Company's website www.marchpole.com. Included within the special business for approval at the annual general meeting are proposals for a share consolidation and a share buy-back. The proposed share consolidation is on the following basis: every five existing ordinary shares of 1p each to be consolidated and redesignated as one new ordinary share of 5p each. Fractional entitlements will be aggregated into whole shares and sold in the market and net proceeds of sale will be distributed to shareholders entitled to such fractions. Cheques in respect of the net proceeds of sale are expected to be despatched by 29 September 2006. Application will be made to the UK Listing Authority for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List and to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that dealings in the new ordinary shares will commence on 18 September 2006. Share certificates in respect of the new ordinary shares are expected to be despatched by 29 September 2006 to those shareholders who hold their shares in certificated form. Shareholders who hold their shares in uncertificated form through CREST are expected to have their CREST accounts adjusted to reflect their entitlement to new ordinary shares on 18 September 2006. Aside from having a different nominal value, the new ordinary shares will carry the same rights as the existing ordinary shares. Under the terms of the proposed share buy-back, authority is to be granted to the Directors to make market purchases of the ordinary shares of up to 10% of the issued share capital at a price not exceeding 105% of the average market price over the five previous business days. 31/8/2006 12:58 | Dean, I like your projection but after tax profit is historically around 9% so on 60 million we would expect around 5.4 million pounds, 4.06 eps around 5 and a bit p/e ration, still much to low for a growth company, should be on a minimum of 13 x earnings imo, therefore based on your 60 million (which is on the low side imo) revenue the target price should be around 52p. Good luck and regards........wbj | ![]() wbjunior
31/8/2006 12:47 | wbj..I reckon 60m easy for this FY with 8m profit, giving a forward pe=3.5!!!! and thats conservative....do the math rgs | ![]() deanroberthunt
31/8/2006 12:15 | Thanks Lex it just that the Directors said early July that forward orders stood at 40+ million and I recon most will drop in the first half. Last year the interim revenue was 14.87 million pounds, now anywhere near 40 million and the growth will be staggering (168% growth). That why I think the big buys are coming in anticipation of bumper interim growth and new licence deals ahead............... | ![]() wbjunior
