26/7/2006 11:41 | groats - apologies for my ambiguity - the other 1m I was referring to was last week, with the Morris buy. Neither seem to have taken MPH out of the current downward trend. Curious that the MMs happy to sell 2m at the then offer. similarity with the last 1m - SCAP sitting alone on the bid. | ![]() chap1889

26/7/2006 10:52 | Cr4zy - a sustained breakout above 22.5p would look mighty fine. 2 x 1m buys seem to have had little effect on the share price considering... Having said that, EVO alone on the offer. Expect another tick up soon. | ![]() chap1889

26/7/2006 09:15 | Morning all, slow trickle of sellers until new news is released, would love to see a trading statement soon. Off for swim back at around 12, keep smiling all is well................ | ![]() wbjunior
25/7/2006 22:46 | It does, tufty. I don't invest too much in small small shares tbh, I have a risk tolerance limit, so I am not too worried! I don't think this really applies to Marchpole, although it probably qualifies on size. Major holders listed, below from header, are insiders or fairly blue chip finds, and the free float is well below 30% so volatility should hopefully be reduced. This will move when the first fruits of the "new plan" start to show, or they bother telling us about them... 25/7/2006 22:38 | Momentos, Have a read of the last post on the "ASC" thread written by williemanjaro regarding small cap fund managers if you get a chance. It makes interesting reading I think. | ![]() tuftymatt

25/7/2006 10:10 | Rathbonesd Unit Trusts have (as is their right) declined to provide a full breakdown of their investments in the latest management report. However the previous report states 7m Marchpole shares. It is interesting to note that the portfolio size of the General Retailers has increased from 2.84% to 4.89%. 25/7/2006 08:27 | Morning all, busy day yesterday moving my last son (1 of 3)out into his own house, touch of sadness at him going mingled with the knowledge that he must fly the nest and start a life of his own. Just me and Mrs wbj now, time to spoil our selves if MPH ever rewards my patience............ Have a good day everyone............ PS not sold out and no spare cash found down back of settee as usual!!! | ![]() wbjunior
24/7/2006 18:46 | So it can't be wbj.... Probably lost down the back of the sofa trying to find some cash for another top up. I wouldn't blame him! | momentos
