28/7/2006 12:51 | At last few takers at 20.25 , more will have to be offered if the mm want them, I think mph investors are getting wise to their antics. Holding very firm................ | ![]() wbjunior

27/7/2006 11:09 | Equally important will be the margins on those forward orders. They mean diddly squat if they are not profitable.Of more help would be a statement that profits will exceed market forcasts etc etc | ![]() argy2
27/7/2006 10:45 | To a degree, drh. There is the YSL replacement issue. But there are whole new bits to the business that have to be considered also. 1. The US operation, which was just short of profitable when Marchpole took over. This will turn positive with the E's of S from Marchpole and better sourcing. 2. JCC - the new licence deals, Okaidi, the perfume revenues from 2008, the deals into the middle east and the resurgence of demand for his product. Excellent publicity work all round by MPH (see V & A, the Sun, etc etc.) 3. Other Ungaro deals, middle eastern, womenswear etc etc. Lots and lots of potential. So yes we are watching to see how Emanuel by Emanuel Ungaro succeeds in replacing YSL in the UK. But these other strands have the potential to make that look insignificant quite quickly. Moda was turning over USD 20m and growing fast (started in 2002). A substantial amount of the 40m FIRST HALF forward orders of GBP 40m will be Moda demand. | momentos
27/7/2006 10:35 | Hi Dan very true 40m+ and growing, off for a swim back around 1. Brindy left in charge, forward all complaints to my first officer............. | ![]() wbjunior
27/7/2006 10:31 | Advance orders of £40 million go a long way to cancel out YSL! | ![]() dan de lion
27/7/2006 10:25 | momentos...I suppose they also want reassuring that the Moda acquistion will indeed cancel out the loss of YSL....and I suppose that could take a while imo, they'd want to see a good years revenue + from Moda before they're fully convinced...I believe this really is a long term play, plan to hold in my ISA for 4-5 years. | ![]() deanroberthunt
27/7/2006 10:17 | Hi DRH, waiting really for confirmation of future prospects, that the new plan is starting to have positive effects. We should see soon. Brindy was that your 130 quids worth?! | momentos

27/7/2006 10:07 | Brindy, just buy a tenners worth. Doesnt matter how many you buy, its just that each time you do, the share price goes up... | momentos
27/7/2006 10:06 | 172p....good call, you obviously saw the flaw in the plan, short term anyway....I waiting to put some in my ISA, targeting circa 115/120p, but just see if the worm turns before that. rgs | ![]() deanroberthunt
27/7/2006 09:58 | Hi Dean.....I still hold SER but sold out of AHT a while back at av approx 172p. Waiting to buy back but no rush atm. | brindy |
