Eagle, my 60p was stated as a maximum potential downside, vs an upside of over 200p. It was meant to highlight the fact the risk reward here is very good. Actually I cant really see it going below 80p even on a profit warning.

I am long, bought a few more today and intend to stay long even if it does dip further.

BTW, Mr Molloy has now made his appearance on the Website AND Raymond Harris is stated as acting Finance Director.

eagle eye3, 60p (12p-13p old money) is where MPH bottomed last time.Look at chart header.Going back bought as high as 35p "old money" sold 22p-23p for a loss.Called bottom 12p-13p buy back @ 16p.

MPH oversold,strong support @ 100p (20p old money).When seller(s) finish and buyers return up share price should go.

MPH thread always been fair & balanced & good humour.Forced seller taking out others on way down stops etc. is good explanation.Upsdie is when overhang is cleared share price rises back to fairer value.Interims will hopefully provide figures & confirmation as to how well company is doing.Look forward to reading number crunching of "knowns" and share price back above 150p again.

THis board is for an HONEST and OPEN discussion on issues Marchpole, bullish or Bearish. I post both concerns and positives. This has never been a rampers / shorter controlled board.

THe reduction is the sort of thing you would see if they had given a profit warning saying they will miss expectations by 20-30%. Which they havent.

It is. Must be a "distressed" seller.

Last seen at this level nearly a year ago. Before we even had Greenmark with its 25m turnover 2-3m pre tax profit.

Down to a PER of 4.5 and based on forecast EPS, about 5.2 forward PER.

Whoever they are holding for, they are down about 800k all in (ouch!). But not selling their 11.36% as far as I can see.

VIXEN,good to see you here.Mainly lurk on MPH and do not post much these days.Does seem like no brainer buy support @ 100p pre-results stripped out of YSL should give clearer indication answering current unkowns.Cheap.Good luck to everyone.

p.s waiting all sellers out and buyers return to move MPH north provisos no unknown nasties..

Guys,as you know sold MPH to replace savings put into PET to hedge my bets.Whatever reasons are do not like seeing MPH dropping like this back to almost 20p old money.Historically strong support @ 20p/100p.Is there anyway of knowing or confirming whether MPH is being shorted say by Man Group? regards lex:o)
