Hi guys !

You are probably thinking that because of my lack of posting I sold out ages ago. I assure you this is not so !!

Back in December I was diagnosed as having Myelodysplasia and have been in and out of hospital ever since.

Sometimes I have not had access to the share price for several weeks and am delighted with what I see ( especially pleased for WBJ ).

Still holding,

Kindest regards to all

Brindy.

Rivaldo,Excellent post.

Your eyes drawn to tight jeans and bum in that order.Mine tight jeans, shoes.........

Shoes nice shade of backless pink shoes and high heels.Immediate thoughts about Greenmark, a splendid acquisitoin on Marchpoles part.

Model pictured is also wearing string vest, pale orange, inset is a model walking on a catwalk and yes back to model in tight jeans does indeed have a curvy bum.lol

Front page of the Sunday Times Business section today - a huge picture of a woman in tight jeans with a curvy bum plus just 3 lines of narrative - but those 3 lines are enough :o))

"Good jeans...Fashion group Marchpole is set to agree a deal with Lee Cooper, maker of traditional jeans like those above, to creat a designer men's and women's denim range, right. The group will produce two collections for the spring/summer 2008 season. Marchpole's Jean Charles de Castelbajac label will design the two ranges."

little tick up/recover,

surprised it was marked down with 50k buy today,

should get exciting in the build up to the 27th

ps

thenakedtrader today

I've only lost a little in my main ISAs mainly because top marks to much of the portfolio which has remained little changed or higher which include Marchpole, Northern Con, Harvey Nash, Dyson, Keller, MTL, Sondex, Telecom Plus, Carclo and BH Macro. However I have lost some paper profits in my spreadbet accounts.

ddl,

MPH supplies them.

Was this with reference to JL or Saks? I'm aware JL & Debenhams stock MPH merchandise but am pretty ignorant on the US front.

TIA,

Mark

PS and a good weekend to you too wbj

Yup Lex, Saks produced stonking results today... seem to remember a figure of +38% on sales against market expectation of +14% (from Bloomberg at lunchtime).

Wonder if Moda sells to them? Roll on the 28th :0)

Wirralmc, no dates or amounts are firm yet. You'll have to wait for the prelims, confirmed for 28th June to find out the dates.

Just for a rough idea, last year they went xd on 16th August. So you'd have to have been "on the books" before that date to get the divvy, which was paid on 14th September.

Why are you worried about this? The share price is likely to move by much more than the divvy amount (expected to be 2.5p, as ddl says), depending on whether or not the market likes the results, so 28th June is a much more important date.

Most holders here (me included) are expecting cracking results and outlook statement on 28th June and a hefty rise, either in the run up to the announcement or afterwards. All that MPH has to achieve is the current broker forecast for 2006/7 of 20p EPS, with an outlook for at least the same next year and the shares will look rather cheap at the current price. Anything over that and they're a screaming bargain.

Cheers,

Mark
