Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the proactive, regionally focused specialist asset manager, today announces that, further to the announcement made earlier today regarding the proposed Bookbuild, the Company has conditionally placed 120,000,000 Ordinary Shares at the Placing Price of 25 pence per Ordinary Share, raising gross Placing proceeds of £30.0million.

I asked 3 questions but they did not have the Balls to mention them.

However, I have to admit that 2 of them were about horseracing.

Thats it it has ended.

Keeping up their track record of not to be trusted.
Money being raised at 40% discount to stated nav - 18% discount to share price is smoke and mirrors!
Raising double stated needed for the acquisition, so as expected, without cash returns they didn't have enough cash to keep on investing very far into the future.
Remains a bargepole stock.

Seems to be holding up today after the initial sell off , may take a week or so but suspect this will climb back above 30p if we get a bit of wider market strength.
