14/9/2023 21:09 | If you inverse traded SS today, from his August low predictions, you'd be close to 7pc up. MRCH is resilient. | investingdad
08/9/2023 16:39 | Added a few in the 520s this week. Have a good weekend all. | mister md
05/9/2023 21:13 | I filtered SS ages ago.He has a total inability to be polite and engage in any sort of civilised conversation. He clearly needs therapy and help. | gateside
05/9/2023 21:11 | Wrong thread. It has no business here. | investingdad
05/9/2023 18:13 | You've lost your head. 1st September 2020 was my reference point. More or less the three years ago. 1yr 3yr 5yr and 7yr are normal points at which to review investments. Those who invest would know that. Go pretend to short another stock for 10p. | investingdad
05/9/2023 18:06 | In your imagination, you've probably made loads a leigioned in your own mind. Just stop being so rude to people. Be nice and helpful. If not, get some therapy. | veryniceperson
05/9/2023 17:38 | Arggh the Investing dud . Picking out low points. I've picked out an historical past point and it's 6 pound in Feb 23 How much have I lost so far ? | superiorshares
05/9/2023 17:18 | If you are investing 10k at all time highs, then you have really not understood investing. Or have the time and funds to add further and compound. Either way, look at the historic trend of this fund. I don't know what you want from the trust? It is fairly cyclical and pays a dividend. Invest in growth if you want, but most people will have a balance of the two. 3 years return then. At 339p you could have bought just under 3000 shares for your money, and be sitting on about £5780 profit. Then add the dividends into that, payouts and compounding and you are looking at a great yield and profit. It is about timing a big investment like that. You know that, you just like trying to wind people up. This wasn't a hypothetical. | investingdad
04/9/2023 07:43 | I agree with zac o and cttrader 3 you can only go on historical data. Now hypothetical. I invested 10,000 pound at £6 per share in Feb 2023 . How much have I lost so far please? | superiorshares
04/9/2023 07:21 | Now my extreme target of 3 pound here is based on dividend cuts . My opinion is companies will be slashing their dividend across the board . If they don't it will come out of your capital anyway . Now GSK I personally wouldn't touch with a barge pole ? However if you read their results everything is sweet! My question on it is . Why hasn't the share price mirrored this Utopia they are in ? The other issue for me as I have mentioned many times before. This constant monthly drip of issuing shares . This is not being used to finance the dividend is it ? Is it ? Is it ? | superiorshares
04/9/2023 07:15 | Agh investing dud 😀 Your the China bull! Your a common Liar aren't you Anyone wishing to read my posts will see you are aliar Your recent post. All a total lie My 3 poundish target is for the end of 2024 I shorted this on a regular basis around the 5.70 and £5.80 mark . I predicted this would be below 5 pound by Jan 2023 and was happy to admit I was wrong . Stop being a common Liar's you fool. | superiorshares
24/8/2023 06:10 | Should see the div in the account today | richtea2517
21/8/2023 15:47 | SS - the income the fund generates is more than enough. But you know that don't you . . . ? | zac0_4
21/8/2023 09:34 | Interesting to see you back on here once MRCH and the market falls. You were quiet in the first quarters. You were very vocal and bearish on this for the last year where you predicted 300p too, that didn't happen. What you are predicting is a 2000 points drop of the ftse 100 or a market crash. But Geopolitics are hard to call. Given market conditions of the last year most would have predicted a crash, but not yet. And MRCH has held up well. And if you had have sold because of a fear it was dropping to that point, you have lost out on the dividend and the all time high too which was the selling point of this cycle.Though if you are confident you could short it and sell once it gets to 300p? | investingdad
20/8/2023 19:58 | Yes it's about 1 times . I think ? Not enough is it . Being an old cynic , I still think this constant issuing of shares is to pay the dividend, somehow via accountants trickery by the back door. We shall see. But I stick with my end of 2024 prediction of MRCH about £3 pound ish . You see all these high yielders will become value traps . China , insane debt levels and the idiocy of the Left wing extremists of the EU and the US are going to leave everything as .. SCORCHED EARTH ! We shall see in Due course | superiorshares
20/8/2023 10:59 | SS You can find the details in the latest annual report | zac0_4

17/8/2023 23:00 | You also like to pick out low points in the past and then use large fictitious lump sums to enhance your waffle . Do you fancy yourself as some sort of market guru.??? OK we are going to follow my hypothetical fictitious story In Feb this year I invested 10k in MRCH at £6 pound per share . After charges and Trust cost with my dividend reinvested what is my present loss ? | superiorshares
17/8/2023 22:39 | Cttrader 3 Your theory only works if dividend is never cut. Please don't bother with Mrch have paid an increasing dividend for 30 odd years . I refer you all to Shell on that one . Please what is Mrch present dividend cover and does it have debt ? | superiorshares
18/7/2023 15:21 | Direct Line noted that 2022 saw the highest weather event costs since the company's listing, with GBP149 million in claims, well above the company's budget assumption of GBP73 million. The company said prolonged periods of sub-zero temperatures in Scotland and North West England accounted for GBP95 million of these claims. No final dividend was declared by the company, resulting in a total dividend of 7.6 pence per share in 2022, down 67% from 22.7p per share a year ago. MAR 2023 .................. Risk/Reward That's an example of why I only own Trusts, even if u have forgotten the news from the covid crash. If MRCH owned Direct Line, one share wouldn't change the dividend payout. | ctrader3 |
