03/7/2019 12:58 | Minny, I’ve read that post twice to check I wasn’t misinterpreting anything. My conclusion is that that meal you are describing sounds bloody awful! Rather you than me! | gettingrichslow
03/7/2019 12:03 | Minny, you’ve got a terrible memory! Only a few weeks ago you were claiming you’d never been to a Bill’s once you realised it was a cheap chain restaurant that rather undermined your bragging about how wealthy you are!! But now you suddenly have an intimate knowledge. Re: Argentina, am I not allowed to love their beef but dislike their invasions of islands they don’t own?? | gettingrichslow
03/7/2019 11:10 | getting My modest bragger's, Aberdeen and Sage along with Green King, not in line with BUR. Nursing largest loss on ITV | jackdaw4243
03/7/2019 10:40 | "to an Argentinian restaurant" I guess you will enjoy it and then a year later direct vitriol at them over something like The Falklands. Views, values, morals, attitudes etc.. are so fickle and transient today. Shame. | minerve 2
03/7/2019 10:37 | "Very meat-centric with the meat carved off a big skewer at your table. The best cut was top sirloin culotte in a chilli marinade served on mooli and edamame salad. Marbled rib-eye was good too. Our waitress was from São Paulo! Iâ€͐ WOW. From São Paulo? Amazing. Did she arrive here by catching a lift on a Portuguese man-of-war or did she use a plane like most do globally? Some of the waitresses in Bill's are from Venezuela, but I didn't at once think it would be of note to write about it on a financial website. Bill's sell cooked meat too, on the skewer. | minerve 2
03/7/2019 09:52 | My Goodness! I think this chap eats too much red meat. | sliotar
03/7/2019 08:22 | It’s a good ‘bragster̵ | gettingrichslow
03/7/2019 07:17 | Lost patience with RR, may have a punt with BUR with proceeds. | jackdaw4243
02/7/2019 19:42 | Very meat-centric with the meat carved off a big skewer at your table. The best cut was top sirloin culotte in a chilli marinade served on mooli and edamame salad. Marbled rib-eye was good too. Our waitress was from São Paulo! I’m going to an Argentinian restaurant in London next week which is meant to be incredible. | gettingrichslow
02/7/2019 19:12 | Getting, sounds good fun and hard work. What is Brazilian food like? | brexitplus
02/7/2019 13:45 | Jackdaw In my opinion three things would help the sp 1 Taking Woodford out of the equation 2 Excellent results on 25 July 3 listing on the FTSE I think all three together would give it a major boost. I’m not sure about SAGA, it’s performance has been dire like the AA. meanwhile might be able to help, it’s more his cup of tea I think. | brexitplus
02/7/2019 12:45 | My financials are up but poor Rolls Royce has no friends, sold Astra, bought SAGA and ITV. How much mileage is left in BUR ? its had a good run | jackdaw4243
02/7/2019 08:14 | I've nothing to say this morning because all the bragster shares are up. | meanwhile
02/7/2019 07:45 | Getting, so good to see that excellent recovery stock, the AA, doing so well. | brexitplus
01/7/2019 22:48 | "operational performance can be improved." Yeah right. Magic Melrose Maestros! ROFLMAO! Anyone can sack people, reduce depreciation and amortisation, switch debt to leases, capitalise R&D, improve cost of capital by getting the right debt/equity balance, sell off outlier assets bla bla bla. How about some real quality shareholder value generation folks? Is it here? I dunno. You tell me! ROFLMAO! | minerve 2
01/7/2019 19:40 | Thanks philanderer I’m very happy holding Melrose for the next few years purely because of the brilliant management team | brexitplus
01/7/2019 19:36 | Getting We have wonderful strawberries locally. Can’t get enough. I’m really enjoying all the wonderful local produce to cook with. There really is nothing to beat great food and wine, and although I don’t like to brag (thats brag with one g) Mrs Brexitplus thinks I am an excellent cook. Good day on the markets today. Very pleasing. Did you know that Churchill became PM in 1940 and not 1939? Even someone with a 3rd class degree, or even no degree or all, knows that. Unfortunately people who brag about their degrees aren’t so clever with dates. And when they get them wrong, due to their embarrassment, try to change the subject and get further in the mire. | brexitplus
01/7/2019 19:31 | Market report: Melrose Industries was among the top gainers as RBC Capital Markets highlighted the stock as one of its top picks in a note entitled 'European Equity Large Cap Best Ideas'. Among other things, it pointed to the company's "unique" business plan, which involves acquiring underperforming industrial businesses whose operational performance can be improved. It also pointed to a possible £5-6bn of asset disposals in the next 12 to 24 months, said end-market worries are overdone and cited management's "excellent" track record. | philanderer
01/7/2019 09:26 | Oh dear, how awful. Not another bragster share on the slide. It's Burford today. What will it be tomorrow? | meanwhile
30/6/2019 19:38 | Perhaps he was thinking of Billy Bragg, a real left winger. | brexitplus |
