We also have the potential /likely(in my view) sale of LMG which at circa 40m euros would effectively leave us debt free (assuming the sale proceeds went to paying down debt).

Even if the sale proceeds were used to fund the further cuts (as detailed in the RNS) or to fund DIVI- the net result would still appear to be positive.

Forecasts have been upgraded with a consensus of 17p this year. I think also that with the economy improving, advertising revenue could come in ahead, so those forecasts could be revised higher still, so there looks plenty to go for here.

Looking positive.

No expert, but appears to be some historic support at 1.09 and no real resistance until late 1.40s.

Would welcome the view of a true chartist.

MEC mkt cap takes it into the Small Cap Index at this valuation - should go in in March.

That opens the stock up to a lot more funds once that entry takes place imo.

Much too early in cycle to sell Mecom. I've doubled up today on my shareholding.

Lots of cost savings still to be made, disposals, bank refinancing by March results.

L&G And LGIM after today's volume will almost be out of this stock totally which will be very good news as they have dampened the price in the past year .

Fully expecting 150-175p this year on Mecom. Reminds me of TNI.

As noted previously, the Board will consider future dividend policy once the announced cost reduction plans have been successfully implemented, current disposal processes have reached their conclusion and existing borrowings have been refinanced. It expects to be able to do this at the time of the final results presentation in March 2014.


Sounds like a divi is on the way. Must be confident. Feels like management have a firm grip on things.

Looking much better here ... Especially when compared to a few months ago.
