scary - i'm in a very similar position as you with this one, i bought it when i was very new to trading and have been holding it since. but i have to say the news is very positive, especially with them announcing a potential div. i actually think this can finally move this year. even tempted to buy at this level. might wait for a slight retrace but could just go one way from here.

still pleasing news finally for the long suffering mecom investors.

the only concern is the general market
is not so easy to go against the crowd
but MEC has been doing just that

Blimey, this still has legs it seems. I suppose I should start to think about targets here as tbh the media sector is not really my thing. I am only here for historical reasons in that I got on the mec train when new to investing in the market and got left holding the baby after the RI.

As they are in the ISA I did not want to sell at a loss as that leaves a hole that cannot be refilled.

Ideally I would like to stay in until £4 and see what the outlook is from there.

'Mecom shares jumped 19p to 215p as Collins Stewart analyst Simon Davies upgraded his rating on the European newspaper group to buy. He believes the shares look 'extraordinarily undervalued'
