Your too kind chrisis33, you got in at the right time i see but the business going forward looks to be doing all the right things, debt down, ebitda up.
Will continue to add today and over the next few days. £1 is very realistic imv so i set my target price there to start.

100p+ seems much more realistic than 60p given EBITDA v market cap.

Trading at 1x EBITDA

Ugrades coming? I saw a Numis flash last week saying they could upgrade eps to 17p and target to 100p post seeing the company.

See no reason these couldn't run back 90pish

60p!!!
They have revised EBITDA forecast to 70-80m Euros, with net debt of 87m euros.
In the year to 31/12/2012 they made EBITDA of E87m,and eps of 34.7 cents.
Net debt stood at 129.5m euros
(Therefore the "I" of EBITDA of the shoud be a lot lower this year)
So EPS for this year end of +/- 30 cents or 25p?
Therefore p/e of 2.5x at 62.5p.
They look very,very cheap.

Thought there'd be more discussion. Any views anyone on the EBITDA the business throws off versus its market cap?

Been watching for a while thinking MEC is possibly wildly undervalued, and been in and out once. Took some on the gun today.

i got waylaid. anyway, todays IMS is awesome and this stock is trading to a 50% discount to the likes of Johnstone Press. Very happy with the update and in my view these should be 60p.

I would take 120p and in all seriousness I think it is a very realistic target price. Don't get me wrong, I'm talking up my own book in a small way but I do believe in this stock at these levels. Let me get back to you on the 70m ebitda number when I have my numbers in front of me.

Thats a good summary bubble and why i'm holding onto all of mine til the music stops.
In your calc you suggest the Company has guided approx 70m euros going forward - i thought guidance was still 50-60m? And less the discontinued danish businesses presumably the lower end of that now. Or did i miss something?

If they do make the 50m euro editda then on a multiple of 5= 250m, less debt of 80m= 170m which is £140m or 120p a share.

Hasn't exactly been the core of the danish biz but the disposals on the right track. They are demonstrating that they are not giving away the Danish biz's. 7.5x and 6x ebitda disposals are good in this market. So.... taking away the 2.5m of ebitda of last years 24m in Denmark where guidance has been maintained...... gives you on c.6x a sum of 129m v net debt of c80m now - this could be the cheapest stock around.......if they dispose of denmark at the right levels. would leave the company trading on an ebitda of c45m euros (holland), no debt, small cash position and a mkt cap of 54m euros (todays px) - just shows the market has no belief in the rest of the danish biz being sold for anything like those multiples.... im happy with the risk/reward at this level.

Well anyone is welcome to use this thread but as it's been quiet here and I am no longer invested (for some time now) I thought the newer thread with more recent discussion would be a better place for all things mecom.
