18/9/2017 22:58 | Think you might have hit the nail on the head mate. After all these years, this could've always been their end goal, whilst living happily with a decent wage. | maceman
18/9/2017 21:43 | It doesn't matter we would be bought out at the time of the sale. The current management will not take it private because they will not have a source of funds. I believe they listed the company because it was the only option open to them to raise some cash. | beggarman
18/9/2017 20:54 | Going private ?What then ? | rodneyfoster
18/9/2017 20:12 | It depends who buys it. If an unlisted company was to buy it our shares would be cancelled and we would be paid an agreed amount, say 15sek per share. If a listed company buys the company we would receive shares in the new company. The shares are likely to be suspended while a deal is done. It would explain why they have valued the proved reserves at $75m instead of the $145m as per the independent valuation last year, this way the prospective buyer gets a bargain. The business is worth $100m but is valued on current fundamentals at $30m, the market value today is $35m. | beggarman
18/9/2017 19:14 | When I used to talk to someone from Matra in old days - who shall remain nameless - he always gave impression they wanted to sell up .What are implications for us if they sell up ? | rodneyfoster
18/9/2017 17:57 | Just a thought, what if they are planning to sell the company. Drilling appears to have stopped probably because they have run out of money but they are making no attempt to raise any funds. The major shareholders can sell their shares from the 20th October onwards. The drills they have completed this year could have been window dressing to improve production and interest potential buyers. | beggarman
