i would not take too much notice by online quotes..as this is illiquid the MMs probably have switched off the facilty to keep control..as this is soooo illiquid, thay cannot afford to me caught short...i'm sure phoning thru will be ok..3k+ just went thru proves my point...i think, depending on your broker, some may be lucky still to buy online.,,but TDW is another not allowing any either.

When was the hold recommendation from though phurley? If it was from a few weeks ago when the share price was 100p then it makes sense. 30% lower down and it might not apply. Its good to see some sense finally returning to MAT. Selftrade will still not let you buy any online but are bidding for 7.5k. Anyone else able to get an online quote and if so in what size?

Seymour have moved on the offer but won't let you buy even 2000.
Tried dummy trade of 10k either, no deal.

We need Seymour Pierce to shift off the offer. Im not sure why they aren't budging. Selftrade are no longer offering an online quote which suggests they don't have any stock available. Im not sure what the situation is elsewhere but in normal circumstances they would have moved by now. I think the outlook statement was bullish enough Masurenguy. Remember they have also raised around 1.8m since the results. That isn't reflected in the current valuation either.

Historic PE is around 9.
We need a company outlook statement or a broker forecast to determine forward potential !

i agree there an overhang, which is really not a great deal with this share. i
really think this is not on may peeps monitor list/radar at the mo.

NJP - Your comparing operating profits in the first half versus full year net profits. Full year pre-tax profits were 1.8m euros. The second half showed strong growth on the first half. Its not possible to work out exact numbers because operating profits were not referred to in the full year results. We only have pre-tax and net profits.

Also, I notice that the half year splits were H1 £600k (per header), H2 just £200k. Not quite so encouraging unless there are definite seasonal influences at work here.

Im in - like the sound of these guys, and mkt cap vrs latest news on turnover profit seems to imply a bit of upwards movement at 68.5p

Its been a struggle to get hold of a decent size position in MAT. That is until now. 22.5k available on the offer. The seller is obviously taking advantage of todays news to try and exit their position. Once its cleared it should move pretty sharply as punters learn of the story. I wouldn't mind a repeat of EDA here!

MAnaged to get just another 2000 just before results. Online you have to deal in the NMS (2000) to get a deal at Halifax any other quantity doesn't work you have to go to the dealer.

Excellent set of results. Shares are trading on 8.8 times earnings and the outlook was bullish as well. No stock seems to be available online but I picked up another 3750 shares this morning to double my stake. Seymour Pierce need to move the offer price and then I can see this moving back to 80-90p pretty damn quick.
