TFI - Really? Look at the AZH Cash shell thread (valued at 0.48m - less than half that of MAT)....why would they buy Matisse when they could get AZH for 60% less?

Additional funds to be used for exploring reverse take overs. Very small market cap and cash. Profitable internet company looking to back in on this one.

Chiddingford wanted us all to part with our shares at a 1p remember.They will look too buy at these levels.

ariesr - Wise words....only 1 in 10 buyers will actually make any money as this heads towards 1p.

You'll notice that as the days progress Chiddingfold will be unloading some of their stock as vastly inflated profit levels to unsuspecting retail. If you really must buy. wait until 1p

Are you kidding? I've kept an eye on this share for months. It hardly moves, and when it does, it's very brief, and before you can capitalise, the doors are closed and the bid/ask prices are widened sifficiently to discourage.

Well Rescuer's post is interesting .
I remember when this company was called Prestidge Publishing after walking the price down to around 3-4p it suddenly took off to around 16p as I remember, prior to being suspended. If it follows a similar pattern then timing as always is crucial.

sorry for being O/T, but have a look at the AHT thread for more details, there's some good reseacrh on there, although it's fair to say the threads been quiet over the last few weeks.

vision88 >> hope you did the research as well, if you want a decent long, look at AHT, I DONT HOLD, (no cash to buy either), but have been contributing on the thread and researching the company for over a year. Have the trend sust, the MM's will play between 22p and 32p, so on face value you'll get a 20 - 30% return before the top of the next cycle, probably by mid July, (results), if you wish to buy and hold long term, the returns should be alot higher, a fair value places them at 60 - 70p, a divi is to be re-introduced July 2005, this should be highlighted in the July results. The results themselves will be poor, but the forward statement will be good reading. The $ is starting to help matters too, as any reduction v £ will benefit the final and future results as 2/3rd's of the business is conducted in the US. A quartley update is expected in Sept, this is AHT's critical update and should see the company revalued.

All IMHO of course and pls DYOR

my call on MAT is quite simple, anything thats got EVO's, Peter Abbey and Chiddingfolds involved, is a recipe for disaster.

Indeed, I spotted this a while back. If anyone thinks there is any value buying above 0.75p...please see my AZH thread.....

The true value of MAT is around 0.75/1p share...as a cash shell with a limited cash (i.e. just like AZH)
