03/3/2020 01:43 | Do you mean Diageo? They are the biggest drinks company in the world. Unless we all die from the virus, Diageo is the most defensive company you can hold. As to Marston's, they are a medium size UK Brewer with reasonable prospects and a handsome dividend. | brewery boy
03/3/2020 01:39 | How did you sell at 116 pence? Hard to believe. | brewery boy

02/3/2020 12:25 | Sold out at 1.16, not the top but had been looking for a re entry, but I now think these are finished, there is a heavy duty recession on the way and the uk already weak after three years of the brexit self harming sxxtshow, the debt is just too high, can see dividend being cut by two thirds and this down to pennies. Im not sure the ftse 350 or aim investable anymore. | porsche1945

29/2/2020 12:46 | Entrenched BOD, High debt, Global virus induced market panic, Happy go lucky fund managers. Missed anything ? | spacecake
27/2/2020 23:03 | I am sure that RF is happy that there is still plenty portfolio to sell off, until he retires. | dinvester
27/2/2020 16:33 | No, they don't, and largest shareholder Hargreaves Lansdown are clearly just there as Nominees for many "small guys". But the others should be encouraged to stir the pot. In another case like this, I found both M&G and Standard Life willing to engage with rational argument and M& G is a large shareholder here too. May be worth pushing them to be a bit more 'activist'. | jeffian
27/2/2020 16:09 | oops..my mind has been elsewhere so forgot. Small guys make no difference here. | meijiman
27/2/2020 15:19 | Ahem! #3374. How quickly memory fades! | jeffian
27/2/2020 14:50 | Truly pathetic. Time for major changes at this comedy show. Who are the major shareholders? | meijiman

27/2/2020 10:31 | I'm accumulating at these levels. Dividend appears to be safe ! | chinese investor
26/2/2020 15:02 | Any outbreak in the uk and pubs will be the first to close. | deanowls
26/2/2020 14:17 | Good luck but rather you then me. | luderitz
25/2/2020 10:54 | I note from the AR that, were they to hit all bonus targets, RF's remuneration would be a staggering £2.4m. However, as they haven't, he's had to make do with around £800k/year. He shares our pain. | jeffian
25/2/2020 10:47 | Yes its morphed into a cozy lifestyle company..get well rewarded for not doing much. what's not to like.? | meijiman |
