02/11/2005 09:10 | Thanks sranmal interesting that Evo's have increased their price target by 80p. | mitzis
02/11/2005 08:04 | Incidentally, Evo have upgraded to Buy with an increased 1000p target. Key points from their note: - Unwins contract only adds C$2M revenue over contract period. However, they believe the contract was won in conjunction with Bell Security, who have a major presence in the UK, and anticipate further orders via this channel. - 2Q figures will be reported on 1 Dec. Evo believe MNW will upgrade on FY figures at this point. - Current net cash is C$68M, giving a cash-stripped P/E to 2007 of under 15. | sranmal
31/10/2005 17:03 | currently up slightly in Toronto about 1/2%. | mitzis
30/10/2005 10:34 | It would be a great coup for Indigo Vision too ;-) | crystball
29/10/2005 21:44 | While being questioned on the radio earlier this week Ken Livingstone noted that TFL (Transport for London) were in the process of upgrading CCTV on their buses to a real-time networked system. No mention of the chosen supplier and not suggesting it's MNW, but would be a great coup for March if they could get their product onto London's buses. Chris | milesy

26/10/2005 08:16 | Contract Win RNS Number:1615T March Networks Corporation 26 October 2005 Immediate Release 26 October 2005 March Networks Corporation Unwins Standardizes on March Networks Digital Video Surveillance Leading UK Retailer Takes In-Store Security to the Next Level OTTAWA, Ontario, October 26, 2005 -- March NetworksTM (TSX:MN; AIM:MNW), a leading provider of Internet Protocol (IP)-based digital video surveillance solutions, announced today that Unwins Wine Group Ltd. has selected March Networks as its standard for advanced digital video surveillance. Unwins Wine Group, one of England's premiere distributors of wines, beers, and spirits, has more than 380 stores throughout the Southeast region of England and has been serving customers since 1843. The retailer was interested in replacing existing surveillance systems with the latest and most reliable technology available. After evaluating many digital video recorder (DVR) vendors Unwins made the decision to standardize on the March Networks solution. The March Networks digital video platform was selected for features such as reliability over traditional analog systems, high quality video, and its ability to eliminate the need for in-store staff to manage videotape. Other key selection criteria included point-of-sale transaction monitoring and investigation capabilities, as well as efficient remote access to video and audio via the networked DVRs. "From a security perspective, not only does the March Networks DVR system deter robbery and theft, it also provides us with the evidence needed to help capture culprits and prosecute them successfully." said Mike Anderson, head of corporate risk management, Unwins Wine Group Ltd. "By combining the video evidence with actual sales transaction information March Networks has created a powerful tool for reducing losses as well as enhancing the effectiveness of in-store procedures, store and display presentations, and other point-of-sale operations. "Sophisticated retailers such as Unwins are looking for the most advanced and reliable video surveillance solutions to enhance in-store security and to aid in the management of their business operations." said Peter Strom, president and CEO of March Networks. "The selection of March Networks by Unwins is yet another example of the security and business value that our products bring to significant retailer organizations throughout the world." This follows an trial earlier this year by Unwins highlighted in this case study on March's website: Should bode well for their planned UK/European expansion. Chris | milesy

19/10/2005 18:53 | I was about to say the same thing roger it has held very well considering the big drop in the fTSE today.. | mitzis
19/10/2005 10:23 | one of the few not affected by todays sell off, this must be a good sign | rogerl
15/10/2005 18:25 | By my calcs it's around 305,000 shares the vast majority to exec officers and directors. 90k to employees, past and present. Can't see eos selling off, maybe some employees. Comes at a pretty bad time though - no sign of a sell off would be good news as it would signal recognition from those closer to the co. of better things yet to come. I'm almost hoping this does trigger a sell off though, as combined events could throw up one of those great buying opportunities. | lordcoco
15/10/2005 18:13 | The Independent: Finally, March Networks gave up 20p to 800p as investors fretted about the forthcoming expiry of a stock lock-up. | lasata
15/10/2005 00:56 | This is looking well over priced now. | firenza1 |
