Having previously worked in the field I can vouch that 95% of analysts would not be able to differentiate between a balance sheet and the back end of a bus. The notes produced by some are closer to a roll of Andrex than research pieces. By all means read them to discover what the company does etc but stay away from the numbers or their estimates. There are the odd 5% though who are business and finance savvy - and they constitute the pearls in an otherwise pool of pigsh#t.

Not sure if this McWhirter chap is having any baring on current share price movement, but talking of analysts it's worth remembering EVO only recently put a (conservative imo) ADD note with target of 920p.

got stopped out today for a small profit

still think the company is good but I operate a very strict stop loss policy and it was triggered today

Apparently some analyst in the states has been bearish on MNW, though as I understand his concerns were more to do with the overall markets rather than anything company specific. Considering the company's track record, their last results and the outlook for the sector as a whole I would say he has got it completely wrong. The fact that he bought at the IPO and sold at $17 has probably got more to do with it imo.

Not sure how the tsx works but someone called Dundee looks to have been offloading a fairly hefty volume over the last few days.

I really cant see there being that much of a pull back given the company and it's prospects, but you never know with March, haven't bought more yet but further drops would start to look quite attractive imo.

The shares mag article was indeed positive in March's favour as they are one of the only LSE companies that issue a future earnings/profit forecast as these are usually issed to private clients of the covering brokers.
Meanwhile in Toronto we are trading higher again..cheers.

Thanks for the evo news sranmal. Interesting to see they (evo) put a bit of emphasis on transport security and terrorism whereas it seemed to me the company played down the importance during their webcast. They did say they fully expected to reach their target in this sector though.

Rec is Add with 920p price target. Forecast EPS is 63.1c (Canadian) for current year and 73.4c for next year (= 29p and 34p). Will update header at some point.
