Well. on other threads people react with a bit more gusto to director buys. I have a feeling the share price here will increase slowly but surely. :O)

I don't hold btw.

What comment can we make, Liars? Mr Swann thinks the shares are cheap. They don't look terrifically cheap to me, but he must know more than I do.

I am surprised that no one has commented on the 200K director buy as yet.

Allen Swann, a senior advisor to the Company, purchased on 30 July 2007 200,000
ordinary shares of 5p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 63.5p per
share. As a result of this purchase, Mr Swann beneficially holds 900,000
Ordinary Shares, representing 2.02% of the Company's issued share capital.

It's hard to forecast because they don't break out the split between license revenue and services/support. Broadly, though if sales grwth slows from 100% to 50% (which isn't unreasonable given the 7 new NHS contracts already signed), assuming constant gross margin and a similar increase in admin expenses to the year just ended, gives PBT of 2.1mm. Add 100k interest income from the cash balance and apply a normalised tax rate gives you EPS of 3.5p. With more tax losses to carry forward, 4p certainly isn't unlikely.

Thanks CR
Seems rather low......probably being cautious as this is the first year they have beaten expectations and I expect they will want todo the same this year.I would be looking for nearer 4p for 08.

Yes, excellent results, but on a fairly high rating. Will need a big increase in forecasts going forward to keep up the momentum.

Hi All
Had a chance to digest the results...I was hoping for 3p of earnings but i guess some of the contracts within the NHS will come through into 08 results. I was impressed that Manpower won the HCA contract against some U.S competition which bodes well for expansion into the HCA hospitals in the States..they have 280....quite a target !! I note that Manpower have only 10% of Acute and Mental Health Trusts....i will be asking the company how many our competitors have !!!

Nice to see a healthy bank balance of £2.5m as well.

I think the future is very bright for Manpower but I dont have access to any current forecasts so its difficult to put a value on the business, what we do know is that Manpower are highly operationally geared so a 20% increase in turnover could bring about a near doubling of eps.

What price earnings do we give to a fast growing software company with excellent products and massive markets to attack ?

I wish i had all the answers....untill i do i am more than happy to hold.

Regards

Rob

Decent tresults now I've had time to read through these and CFE while getting interupted to buy some SMC on their statement too - hard work this am.

Yep, I think in a stronger market we might have seen a more positive reaction.

Happy to hold, might add if they come off a bit.

Yes, a good example of "increased momentum".

The 22 NHS installations of our MAPS Healthroster software are generating strong referenceable results and further Trusts are continuing to evaluate our
rostering solutions under contract. These successes are resulting in an
increased momentum that is building further demand across the NHS. The Company is focused on expanding the direct and indirect sales capabilities into this market, enhancing the product proposition and shortening product procurement
timescales.

Well, given they've already closed 7 new NHS trusts in the 1st 2 months of the current financial year vs 10 in the whole of last year, it's not surprsing they're confident of meeting expectations. I'd expect them to be ahead come the AGM/H1 announcement.

Hi Madmix
I'm also looking forward to the results, it will be the first time in my 7 years of holding the shares that the company will have made a profit both at the interim and full-year results !!!

I think that going forward the smoothness and predictability of the revenue stream should improve as rather than relying on 1 or 2 large contracts, we now have smaller but more consistent contract wins with the NHS.

If you go to the "Current Vacancies" on the website you will see they have openings for 8 positions ranging from Sales to the HR Dept.

The important factor which we will glean from the results will be the future forecasts for 2008 and 2009. I'm expecting a minimum of 3p for May 2007 and would like to see at least 5p and 7p for 2008 and 2009.

I guess only time will tell

Regards

The final results in the last two years were on the 1st and 4th August, so it would seem we are now only two weeks away from finding out how "significantly ahead" they are.

It will also be interesting to hear how the flow of new contracts is progressing.
