A great long-term multi-bagger. I see a rounding bottom forming in the chart. Good work SB.

Forward looking book ...Ha ha ha, you need to do stand-up!
The Company is finshed, their clients are leaving in droves, they have no repeat business, they make no margin, they have a huge Head Office cost, the CEO is never there and he's probably going to end up being scrutinised by the Authorities anyhow...

all the hotel contractors who work for IHG received written confirmation last Friday that capital Cooling have now got the national maintenance contract and that MSS have been kicked out.

Nothing from SB regarding this, which is strange as they have a legal responsibility to advise shareholders of any material change in their position.

Which bit is excellent? The profits warning, the loss of turnover or the executive pay deal? Ah yes you are quite right - great results, great for those squezing every last penny out of MSS before it goes pop.

Thanks philw2009

i cant understand why there might be cynicism given SB's outstanding track record over the past 4 years

I have never met anyone in business who found that growing the business with a 30% gross margin and debtor days of 55 gave them more cash, it does the opposite and if you grow aggressively then you have to squeeze suppliers or you run out of cash

If the first quarter has been challenging (as reported) then they dont really have any room for maneuver

Oh and we know they have lost 300k a month with the hotel contract so thats not going to help cash-flow when the customer is holding onto invoices whilst they extricate themselves from the deal

There is a lot of cynicism here. Everyone knows that those loan notes were to fund additional growth, not just to stave off bankruptcy for another few months.

Also the fact the MSS has to pay 0.2m in September for the ECS acquisition is of no concern because the growth will mean that they'll have loads of money by then.

FROM THE PEN OF SB - A PROFITS WARNING FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AND WEVE ONLY JUST STARTED.

HE CLOSED THE PROJECTS DIVISION LAST YEAR SO HOW HAVE THE "TRAVAILS OF THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR" IMPACTED ON T/O LEVELS FOR SECURITY GUARDS AND TOILET CLEANERS THIS YEAR!

'Market conditions in the first quarter of our new financial year were very difficult. The well publicised travails of the construction sector during the last few months had a material impact on our capital project related units.

This will adversely impact our first half performance, however, we believe we are now seeing the prospect of activity levels recovering and there are further considerable benefits to emerge from the new operating structure. Our intention is to build sales and to finish the year with a satisfactory run rate of activity in what we hope will become slightly less demanding markets'

These results are even worse than the profits warning hinted they would be.

They are a disgrace!

Im not surprised Euan McAlpine has decided not to stay on as a non exec. He must be hanging his head in shame and loss of reputation for being involved with this Charlatan

Last years t/o of 15.3m should have increased to 32-34m and a profit of 2m with the full year numbers from Status building service T/O 8m, Data Sound 2.3m and ECS T/O 8.8m included, but instead we are told 26.6 and 0.8m is an excellent result.

The overhead has increased by 2.2m (40%) at a time when the business has reduced by 6m. Either the core MSS business has lost 6m in t/o or the acquisitions have lost business since they joined but either way its a shocking result.

Group banking facility is a MAXIMUM of 3.5m. The 800k cash from the loan notes arrived on the 31st March, the numbers show that without this the group was flat up against the top of the facility. We know they are not paying suppliers at the moment, so are we back at the top, I think so.

There is no cash to grow this business and it is not producing enough to sustain any growth for the coming year. I suspect as customers see the reduction in service MSS delivers then they will vote with their feet which means 2011-2012 will be even worse.

NO MENTION of the lost Hotel contract which had a t/o of 3m per annum and the fact that all of the skilled engineers will soon be working for Capital Cooling.

SB = FRAUD

Major Hotel Contract has been lost with MSS being notified last Thursday. The contract is material in T/O and Profit.

Where is the announcement of major contract and job losses?

SB ignores the shareholders like we are an inconvenience in his asset stripping plans. The man is a disgrace!
