22/3/2009 20:47 | Hyper. The crowds arent following anything much at the moment,as the Crowds dont exist yet. Many are still in positions of simply needing to raise any funds they can and in some stocks there are still signs of the last of Bankrupt Funds, with going Bankrupt Brokers & Nomads to come, and continuing redemptions. Some stocks have simply caught a momentum of short term traders that has led to some shorts being closed, and encouraged a % of true investors to average down-that gives the impression that all is rosey, but it isnt yet so a slow climb of a Mountain to battle. However the time will come when new money will be attracted to such stocks driven by virtually 0% interest rates on savings. For example I am about to cash in my Premium Bonds as they are now returning nil even on the Maxiumum. The returns from many battered stocks like Mana could now be truly considerable especially when for myself I take the view I was happy to buy as high as 12p, and considered that all things being equal it was cheap---so I have no problem buying at these levels. I have applied that logic to several stocks that I have been buying since December. When the Crowds do return,no matter how long it takes, the fight for stock in many battered Cos will be worth waiting for. | richgit
22/3/2009 20:16 | blimey, no posts over the weekend, typical the crowds are not following this one, lets see how that changes. | hyper al
21/3/2009 12:59 | encarter Agree, Mano River is in the strongest position it has ever been, has cash in bank and no debt, yet the share price is way down considering it's strength. Just need to look at the 5 year chart free stock charts from www.advfn.com OK whole market is down, but surely this is worth at least double the current price, could see a bid situation at this level. Remember Mano have a very good working relationship with governments in the region, that alone is worth a lot. | hyper al
