13/2/2009 15:50 | bsg Thanks, i'm thinking 6-7p for starters | hyper al
13/2/2009 15:24 | Thats a good guess Hyper ! | bsg
13/2/2009 08:09 | no debt, plenty of cash and good resources in ground. charts suggest the share price could go very positive, very soon. | hyper al
12/2/2009 08:48 | 2.5M buy just gone through. | encarter
11/2/2009 19:06 | Yes arf - that is what I wrote first then stupidly changed it to the incorrect spelling in the article. Too lazy to check. | unionhall
11/2/2009 16:18 | unionhall, Is it really Mandela? Surely Mandala? | arf dysg
11/2/2009 07:47 | Here is a link to the Reuter's report: "Da Silva said the company had put all of its other exploration on hold. The CEO estimates diamond prices to be down 30 to 40 percent from their peak levels due to falling demand, but gave no guidance on timeframe for the decline." | stevie blunder
10/2/2009 21:37 | On the Stellar website they estimated $65 per carat for Mandela. This looks like a 2008 figure. Any ideas what it might be now? | jimcar
10/2/2009 19:31 | The gold neeeds financing so I guess it is on the long finger until funding improves. In the meantime Mandala will bank-roll the diamond development and Severstal will drive the Iron Ore - that's how I see it anyway. | unionhall
09/2/2009 15:03 | Nice bit of volume today. | bsg
02/2/2009 09:33 | Today's fund raising by Stellar at 20p/ share contrasts with the fund raising in March at 100p/sh. With 50 million stellar shares in issue (roughly), that puts a value of 10 million on the company, of which Mano have 60%. Shows the potential upside, if they just return to the initial value, which they might in the next few years. The most encouraging thing about the announcement today is "Stellar is now on the threshold of becoming a self-financing company" They Mandala project has been very low key, but the Stellar website says it could yield 8000-10000 cts/month at minimum value of 65 usd/ct. Sounds good to me. | stevie blunder
21/1/2009 16:44 | It's a 1.64% dilution which ain't nothin' compared to the fact that the current share price is less than a quarter of my average buying price. | arf dysg
20/1/2009 15:34 | "The Board of Mano River Resources Inc. (the 'Company') announces that, pursuant to its Stock Option Plan and subject to regulatory approval, it has granted incentive stock options to certain directors, employees and consultants of the Company. The stock options were granted over a total of 5,200,000 common shares representing approximately 1.64% of the issued share capital of the Company at an exercise price of Cdn$0.035 per share, exercisable for a period of five years from 19 January 2009. The stock options are exercisable immediately." That could be a bit of a drag on the share price ! | bsg
19/1/2009 16:20 | Mention on Minesite: | chipperfrd
18/1/2009 20:20 | Hectorp They have cash now as well. Market Cap below cash | hyper al
18/1/2009 20:04 | So overlooked, is MANA, yet could well double in a short term. | hectorp
08/1/2009 19:47 | shouldn't we be usin the same sort of nomads's as de' beers and so forth to enhance our position within the diamond and gold market. wouldn't that enhance our postion and what about the iron ore surely thats worth talking about. Chris | chris nuttall
08/1/2009 09:01 | encarter I hope they put all diamond work on hold, can't see the market improving for these for a long time. This is a bargain just for the Gold and Iron. | hyper al
08/1/2009 08:57 | Good news all the way now and plenty of updates to follow with the iron and the gold, not sure what's happening about the diamonds though. The only worry was the funding and that's been sorted. These are too cheap so imho MMs will rerate, maybe over the next few months, maybe over the next couple of weeks. | encarter
08/1/2009 08:41 | As per the December 10th news release; "AIOG is currently in the final stages of an initial 4,000m drill programme aimed at further delineating the resource at Putu and establishing the quality and quantity of the resource. A technical update on the project will be provided in the coming weeks". Considering the extent of Severstal commitment (particularly in the current economic climate) I assume that the expectation for the programme is positive and while "the coming weeks" is ambiguous, I would also expect this to be within Q1. Good luck to all. | nathand
07/1/2009 16:57 | This could explode like AGU | hyper al
07/1/2009 08:47 | encarter I would go for 7p, but any exciting news and it could easily hit 10p. Remember we have all that cash and no debt! | hyper al
07/1/2009 08:40 | Creeing up now, back above 10p by June imho. | encarter |
