I think you may be reading too much into your evaluation here Al, take a look at other financial stocks like LGEN, and then explain your reasoning to me again as to their intraday and share price performance, how they mirror one another.
You seem to have got the 'Long Volume', and the 'Mergers & Acquisition exposure' logically applied, but lets not forget that the manipulation provided by the market does whatever it can to inflict the most damage to the no balls share holder.

Well, I'm under water! I always had a perfect sense for timing...not.

It looks like the PBT(e) in the last couple of weeks is back down to what it was at the beginning of the year before the accrued perf fee kicked in the first half, so outflow likely in Q3 to explain lowered PBT (e) by analysts, hence a lower base for AUM and lower "quality" of the FY PBT (e) now vs beginning of the year.

My hunch is that the momentum box is very US tech heavy, hence likely avg/poor perf in Q3.

I'll make EMG my Tech / Long Vol / M&A exposure.

Bought in the dip this morning 705pDecent valuation and yield, structural growth in SHF per share, interest rates on the way down though no clear path yet.Base level volatility as per VIX and VIX futures a tad higher than in H1.Otherwise, no clue.
