This is why I keep banging on about cancelling those shares held in treasury.

No buyer will be looking to take over this company with all those treasury shares, they too will have to be bought up alongside the shares still left in issue, that’s why Luke and Co keep them there, firstly to stop any takeover, and secondly to do a bit of pilfering when the market isn’t looking!
