Damn, now you’ve mentioned eggs I’m wondering how long it’ll take Deliveroo to find me some spam!

In Norway they used to sell a similar product which they called ‘picnic bog', but for some reason that brand name doesn't give me the same urge to go out & find some.

A 1960s breakfast staple - spam & eggs or spam fritters for school lunch!

No commission - just commenting on the nature of post 3304.

On edit - yes, quite a gap!

Skinny - I haven't had spam for years, but when I saw your post I could imagine the taste quite vividly and felt a strong urge to go out and buy some.

The power of advertising!

p.s. are you on commission?

Correct but my thoughts were the recent noises were coming from the possible buyers side ahead of an official approach.

Chief strategy officer 15k share purchase.

I assume from that then there can't be any take-over talks going on.

I see. Certainly not a good idea after this last week. Im feeling a bit bruised and battered after it. Just hoping that the USB bid comes to some conclusion and settles the markets next week. Glad to see Biden trying to bring them under control but after the last debacle its a bit after the event especially as British banks seem to have been quite well sorted (not that you would think so) I added (various stocks) a few weeks ago thinking things were calming down a tad - then boom. So I wont be adding now even though it should be pretty much one way from here for a while - I think !!!!

Possibly not, the point I was making, was that there are no notifiable (over 0.5%) positions.

11.02% yield at yesterday's closing price - too good to be true?
