$600 eh? Even though it was a one off it still looks like 500+ is getting established.

I read somewhere (Moneyweek article ?) that over the period to 2020 the production of zinc is expected to go down and the demand go up.

so there might still be some takers for Bou Jabeur over the next year or so.

also a huge waste pile with quite a high % metal content, ca't remember how high, but with modern milling and floatation, could be very worth while .....

With all this cash being poured into Tunisia maybe they can get a grant to kickstart a fluorspar plant at Zriba. I think there's a fair chance it's feasible at current fluorspar prices. Not sure about the zinc/lead but if there's cash for that as well then go for it! lol.

nope.
I presume we are still producing, and I also presume drilling has resumed at Boa Jabeur, after the unrests, as they state drilling back on 31 march.
We could all be suprised with a sale of that asset before relisting .....

So I am expecting anything might happen .......

Gents (and Ladies)

I am assuming that there is likely to be some publicity before the readmission and that it wonùt be a completely out of the blue RNS:

Is that what others think or am I being niaive?

A bit confusing, a few weeks ago they said the quota would be 10.5m tonnes, but now they're saying it was supposed to be 9.5m and they've raised it. Given last year was 11m a drop of 1m is pretty substantial.

Nothing goes up in a straight line. For mms factors like the dollar/rand exchange rate may be important. China has about 7 years worth of fluorspar left in their current operations, hence the need for them to conserve them, and that may turn them into an importer.
India is still growing fast. China may be slowing to 8%! lol.

hope this does not make a muck of our plans, it seems acid grade is weakening, or is it just a bit of bluster .......

We can't guess the share price at the moment. There may be more news before the relist, re. finance, Tunisia, future plans etc.
But looking at the basics - the plan is to own 100% of Sallies, a company that is geared up to sell 120k tonnes of fluorspar a year at what $400-$500 a tonne.
20% of KFC which can produce the same as Sallies, plus 49% of a new fluorspar marketing company.

There are no comparisons on the uk market. The nearest is China Shen Zhou on the US market. mkt cap $140m and they produce sweet fa fluorspar. CFI in Canada have a mkt cap of $40m and need $100m and 2 years before they produce anything.
What the UK market will make of it - who knows? I think there will be some publicity and news, then we can make a guess.

No. Minesite said "shortly" on 24th March. So 31st May is a reasonable date.
It's got to come back some time!

That's the Firebird position with CFI. 15.72%. The small sell seems to have upset the CFI price a little.
