reminds me of the worst pop lyrics ever spun "I know that I must do what's right
As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti"

I think it’s cos China and Hong Kong are up. LUCE have almost all their manufacturing out there, so often seem to be boosted/ hit by movements in the Hang Seng.

Very predictable! Took the opportunity to trim some after yesterday's spike - will add back if it continues to fall back.

Back to where we were 10 days ago now riverman77! :)I too cannot see a reason for it.Perhaps we will see a buyer today after the close but most likely just more volatility, just in our favour today.

Volatile markets and fairly illiquid stock, wouldn't read too much into it personally.

I'm not sure I have any specific insight into this for Luceco. I think they have the ability to pass on inflation cost increases, as they successfully did for 2021. This will probably reduce demand somewhat, which combined with the customer over-ordering in 2021 has led to some short term weakness in demand. They sell relatively cheap items though so there may be some shift down the value range and more people attempting DIY rather than paying someone. This clearly won't be a boom-time environment, but I'm not sure why this would proportionally affect Luceco more than their customers such as B&Q or Wickes which is what the market seems to be pricing.

Wasn't at Mello but how was the question on consumer spending slowdown after rate rises and cost of living increases addressed please?

I think it was a "hold" from the BASH panel and an "avoid" from the audience, so not that compelling!!

Thanks fingers crossed with this one, but think it should do well on 2 to 3 year view. One to tuck away.

It's merely back to where it was a few days ago, having fallen 10% for no reason, so wouldn't get too excited about today's rise. I did use yesterday's dip to add some so not complaining.
