Its interesting to hear that LTHM main competitor has gone into administration. Good news for a company with a massive cash pile.

The company has been around for 250 years as well.

Been On my watchlist for while.. cash pot £67.5 million.

Divi about 3%, PE 10 5

Never hear anymore on twitter mention them either..

AV has gone direct to DLG shareholders:




They might have to up their bid slightly but as i've said i think if they paid 270-280p it would still be a great deal all round.

I see bb is now in TSCO and CNC. Everyone is picking CNC now which i just find hillarious. Nobody was interested in it two years ago when it was half the price but now it's going up you've got all these traders pointing their finger and saying this is a good one..

That negative view is gonna be hard to change too. I'm hearing that majority of UK investors are feeling despondent but that's probably because they are following all these twitter gurus and flitting in and out of stocks hence almost certainly losing money..

We've got so many great UK companies and i am personally proud to be invested in a few of them but you've got to buy and keep hold of them..

It seems any company thats ambitious and puts a bid in for another company, gets their share price punished. In this country they punish companies for ambition, whilst in USA its the opposite...

There is a really negative view to change in the UK...

It was all very tight-lipped but in the end it's all been rejected. It was a good deal for both companies and both sets of shareholders but sadly not to be.

Loungers have got bid. Are we starting to see a bit of takeover action pick back up again in time for Xmas..

Good Results for RNWH.Flat Results for SWG, but a large 12.5 million contract. Thats bigger than the companies market cap. Investor meet of SWG tomorrow..

Quite a few companies reporting today. My newest holding VP out with a some solid interim numbers despite challenging conditions. A very well run company with a nice dividend yield.

I dunno what to make of these articles sometimes. I wonder if half the time the rumours are just set going by hedge-funds trying to make a quick buck.

FT was convinced TATE was getting a bid but there's been nothing. Even the company is saying nothing. Very much doubt there is any substance behind this one with ITV either..

I was very impressed with GRI presentation yesterday, they are converting to a reit next October. Should push the dividend up to around 6%.

Definitely one I would top up if funds were available...
